aroeira Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 where can I see the approximate date of new version of tekkit?
Valkon Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 ETA stands for "Estimated Time of Arrival." Don't ask for them.
theprolo Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 Don't worry about what the ETA is, just follow the link. It'll explain.
DXWarlock Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 I think the best way to find out is to buy one of these..and ask it weekly on updates about the release date
VideoBoy Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 where can I see the approximate date of new version of tekkit? There won't be a new version of Tekkit. Minecraft just got updated to 1.3.2 but a lot of the authors of the Tekkit mods won't bother updating because apparently 1.4 is right around the corner. Then when 1.4 does come out, there will only be a couple months before the end of the world (Dec. 21st) and I doubt the devs will bother spending their last few days of life programming in a dark room.

Regarding 1.4... http://gamerant.com/minecraft-1-4-details/ If modders make use of the upcoming API, won't that render Tekkit somewhat redundant?

They've been claiming to be working on the mod API all the way since beta 1.8, bro. It probably won't come out with 1.4. XD
