LazDude2012
Jacketed wire? Jacketed will most likely not connect without putting a blue alloy wire underneath it.
Mageleon3860
:S does the wire have to be on the side of the pump
LazDude2012
it might. I generally don't use jacketed wire much. I certainly know you shouldn't conect your wires on the front or the back. Not sure about bottom and top, but I don't se why not
Mageleon3860
i've tried top and bottom so it must be one of the sides.
LazDude2012
OK then, I suppose. That's where I'd always hooked my bluewire up.
Nolz
Take a screenshot and post it here, that would help solving your problem
Mageleon3860
i've done it, i put it in the nether with a thermopile with 3 water and 1 lava obviously and i put the jacket wire next to it with a bit of blue alloy wiring and it worked, Takes a LOOONNNGGG time to get power but... ohh well. Kocken926
Then why not just write ice blocks :/
Valkon
The ice blocks melt into water.
Kocken926
The ice blocks melt into water. Just writing "thanks" or "aaaaaaaahaaaaa" could be interpreted as a low-effort post, so I wrote this instead.
LazDude2012
One thermopile won't power crap. Try using multiple; I find 4 to be a decent number.
saintnicster
You're probably better off setting up an Ender Chest battery charging system attached to an array of solar panels in the overworld as a source for power in the nether.
LazDude2012
unless your server admin has removed Ender Chests. :(
