Please Help. Modpacks dont open...

So I've had this problem a while and what basically happens is that I install the modpack, press play then after it loads and installs instead of lauching minecraft, it just closes then re-opens on the same screen as if nothing happened. Any ideas?

Just to say, I have checked and there is no xmx for the java thing. Please help.

org.lwjgl.LWJGLException: Pixel format not accelerated

that means you upgraded to windows 10 an old pc, too old for that actually.

Downgrade java from version 8 to version 7 and it should work. Here's the complete tutorial form one of our Discord Moderators:

Please press WindowsKey + X and click on "Programs and Features" and uninstall all copies of Java. After that, install Java 7 from this link:

http://cdn.lemonmc.com/jre-7u80-windows-x64.exe

Remember to restart your pc afterwards.

Enable console and pastebin the error log, don't post the SLJ4F error dough, it's very normal to have that one.

These are the only Errors I found thats been pointed out by the Console and since the SLJ4F thing is normal I left that out

Also I saw that that graphics card may be causing a problem on someone elses so to be safe ill say my graphics card is an Intel HD graphics card

@Gamasan Can you get me the latest log from .technic/logs ? Open it, select all the contents (Ctrl +A) and copy (Ctrl + C) it to http://paste.ubuntu.com, fill in the author and hit paste, the site will reload, copy the link (from the address bar) and post it here.

@jumpandshootbeef stop giving advices on things you don't understand, I'm not speaking about this thread only, you're adding confusion and making some topics unreadable

@bochen415 Oh I'm veeeeeery sorry for trying to help, oh noooo have I done something wrong? MAYBE BECAUSE IM ACTIVE AND TRY TO HELP EVERYONE. please ignore that outrage, it's been a long time coming, since the site basically noped me. I could not type anything in the boxes. Oh and you say "things you don't understand". But you know, I understand you, and you are annoying :D. For the record, a lot of people also have the issue I was trying to get a hold of here, so in yo face
