won't load past logo on mac

I'm on macOS Catalina 10.15.5 and I've tried restarting my computer, I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling technic launcher. Is there anything else I can possibly try?

This is a just a guess based on other issues with macs I've seen. You might have a newer java version installed that Minecraft does not support. You will need to downgrade to version 8 or 9. I am not sure how to check on a mac so you will need to look that up before hand to make sure you don't have something like 11-13 installed.

Did you download the launcher from https://technicpack.net/download or did you download it from elsewhere?

I downloaded it from the official cite.

Hm thought that issue was fixed a few months ago, guess not.
