Synthetica Posted May 10, 2012 Posted May 10, 2012 Choking on your own stupidity? He's probably allergic. Poor him. And now you're orange. I told you it's random!
Coldfist Posted May 23, 2012 Posted May 23, 2012 Are you going to be updating to Technic 7??? If possible would you also do Forestry and Portal Gun in the TP also please?
Sal Paradise Posted May 23, 2012 Posted May 23, 2012 Are you going to be updating to Technic 7??? If possible would you also do Forestry and Portal Gun in the TP also please? I think he stated somewhere that he will update to T7, but I would guess that he'll do it for the rec build. Can't wait, I really love this pack and 32x is about the maximum resolution my crappy pc allows me to run...
Vanguard_6 Posted May 24, 2012 Posted May 24, 2012 Great pack, needs to be updated for Tekkit 3.0/ Minecraft 1.2.5 dev build.
dragonshardz Posted May 25, 2012 Posted May 25, 2012 Great pack, needs to be updated for Tekkit 3.0/ Minecraft 1.2.5 dev build. Can't you read? He only updates for RECOMMENDED builds, you ignorant sap.
Uber_Worrier Posted June 9, 2012 Posted June 9, 2012 Please can someone update this to 3.0.3 please?!
dragonshardz Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 Vattic, the original creator, is working on a version that will fully support Technic 7 and Tekkit 3.
Uber_Worrier Posted June 16, 2012 Posted June 16, 2012 Heres an updated version of the Faithfuls Texture Pack for Technic/Tekkit 3.0.3/3.0.4: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?cj9rf04pd3ip6ii
willhoot Posted August 10, 2012 Posted August 10, 2012 Heres an updated version of the Faithfuls Texture Pack for Technic/Tekkit 3.0.3/3.0.4: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?cj9rf04pd3ip6ii wait is that Technic 3.0.3? I am new to Technic but did we go from 3.0.3 to 7.2 in less than two months?
dragonshardz Posted August 16, 2012 Posted August 16, 2012 Sort of. It works, except where Vattic has yet to make textures for the new mods.
Neraven Posted September 21, 2012 Posted September 21, 2012 As soon as I started using this pack, I noticed the clock is blank (pink) and that my pumpkin had a corner made of water, a side made of lava and another chunk made of lava on the other side. Everything else was very nice, but I don't know what the problem is, and I can't use it in this world until I've figured out what is wrong and I have/it's been fixed. My clock is very important as I'm keeping journals based on days, and I can't stay above ground all the time (especially if I want to keep an actually interesting chronicle of my adventures lol)
dragonshardz Posted September 21, 2012 Posted September 21, 2012 You obviously have not installed it properly.
Neraven Posted September 21, 2012 Posted September 21, 2012 Yeah, I realized this shortly after. Now that I do have it installed properly, chunk loading is messed up. It was suggested in one video that if you keep it on multi-core, you simply have to cycle through the options to get it to load, but my problem is that not all the chunks are missing, just some. In a lot of places, I can see very far underground to lava and waterfalls and caves. In others I can't see the middle of trees and hills and such, or a bunch of the ocean is missing. I can still walk around obviously (as these are no world holes) but...obviously this needs to be fixed too. I messed around with a bunch of the settings in options, but I don't understand which ones could do this, since it happened before I'd changed chunk loading. I'll mess around some more, but if you know which setting/s specifically might have done this, that'd be nice.
Neraven Posted September 21, 2012 Posted September 21, 2012 Everything is completely screwed up. I reset all of my video settings, have quit the game and logged back in more than once, have tried using the default texture pack. I really don't know what's wrong.

I reset all of my video settings, have quit the game and logged back in more than once, have tried using the default texture pack. I really don't know what's wrong. That's not the texture pack's fault. Your computer is too slow to load all of the chunks with the specific settings you have in optifine, and the resolution of the texture pack you're using.
Neraven Posted September 22, 2012 Posted September 22, 2012 I think it was cuz I run my computer for way longer than I should before shutting it down. I restarted it and did the changes in little bunches, as well as doing the ones I felt were more needed in the basic texture pack first. It's set to everything it was before, and works fine. I just have to be careful about running minecraft on all of that when my computer's slowed down after a really long time being on. Thanks anyways.
dragonshardz Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 Being on for a long time doesn't slow your computer down. Having a lot of processes running and taking up RAM does, but if you just leave a PC on and don't run anything on it, it won't slow down that much.
Neraven Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 I know that...that was implied. I don't just leave my comp running without doing shit on it, come on.
superyong Posted September 30, 2012 Posted September 30, 2012 Anyone else having a problem with the textures for dirt/wool/etc. slabs and such? The vanilla slabs work fine but when I hold the non-vanilla slabs, they show me a grey texture of nothing. There are no problems with the textures when placing or dropping them though. Edit: So I found the problem only affects items from the RedPower mod. Moreover, for some reason it doesn't recognize the textures in the Technical pack but it does when playing Tekkit (using the same texture pack). Much appreciated if someone could help me. 2nd Edit: So I found out it happened because of a bug caused by Optifine. Managed to repair it. Anyone having this bug should google "Optifine Held Mod Blocks Render Issue" and follow the instructions there.
