Yesterday whole server stopped to work completly. ID mismatch, server tick loops, IC2-energy errors, Nuclear Control incompatibility with buildcraft (?), chunks not loading properly and more... It was giving me ID error even with no mods loaded and new map. I had to recreate whole server from scratch and add mods 1by1. Anyway...

New "geodesic" dome design. (for those interested i didnt made it by myself, rather i used this after some minor edits)

"Night" shot from todays work. I added whole light system outside mostly for air-tanks.

I added controllable gateway inside every air-tank so you can release some nasty creatures out of dirty emergency oxygen supplies.

I dont know right now how is that mod called but all air-vents are designed to at least 1 block of space inside so you can "infiltrate" and have fun.

Also you can notice new cylinder "decoration".

On image you can see 4 mini-air-vents between floors and emergency floor lock. You will be able to lock specific or all floors. I am also thinking

about flooding system. What about setting explosives under glass windows so water can reach everywhere and drown everything? mmm...

Here is same insane and beautiful automated control of this elevator. Again no buttons, levers, pressure plates, or touchscreens. Only perfect timing and motion sensors.

Yes, yes i know almost no surface structure so take it as...dammit! Take it as covered with camouflage-forcefield so it will look like hill :)

I am honored to present you my first(but not last) "real" surface home.

On the left is huge multi floor structure.

From top:

  • My personal apartment
  • Machine/storage/control room and other personal rooms
  • Drone bay
  • [last visible floor] first defense parameter(those small white platforms) and rest free space will serve as air-loading/unloading storage platforms for personal VTOL planes

Ok let me try to explain how it will work.
  •  
  • Marines will locate (dead?)alien and prepare him to transport.
  • VTOL will pick him up and transport to E.R.A.M. If he is fresh enough. he will be transported directly to my HQ.
  • They will drop container on landing platform outside.
  • It will be moved inside elevator and waiting right in front of lab. (1)
  • After main science team get ready container will be opened(yes yea hear that right...RIM magic is working) and frozen cube adjected from container by motor arm. (2)
  • Another crane will drop cube on table below. (3)
  • Alien will be properly....
  • Table also serve as elevator and will move body below to fridge or to crematory machine.

Edit. oh man I forgot about that one, I remembered seeing it... was it 1.8 beta or something? I'm amazed that the dev is still going
