ninjaman2 Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 I would please like it if Technic brought back the Technicpack
TheBytemaster Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 I would please like it if Technic brought back the Technicpack Have you tried tekkit classic/lite? They have all of the older mods. That might be what you are looking for.
ninjaman2 Posted November 8, 2013 Author Posted November 8, 2013 i have but you know, i only got minecraft when it was in 1.5.1
TheBytemaster Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 i have but you know, i only got minecraft when it was in 1.5.1 That's...nice....So... uh....... are you actually looking for something? What do you even mean by technicpack? The old installer?
_Mataroyale_Modpacker_ Posted November 9, 2013 Posted November 9, 2013 That's...nice....So... uh....... are you actually looking for something? What do you even mean by technicpack? The old installer? I'm betting the single player tekkit, they called it technic.
theprolo Posted November 9, 2013 Posted November 9, 2013 http://www.technicpack.net/modpack/details/removed-modpack.21133 Enjoy.
dwwojcik Posted November 9, 2013 Posted November 9, 2013 To answer the question in the title: NO Separate singleplayer and multiplayer packs were required only for under-the-hood-reasons, which were resolved by Minecraft 1.3. Tekkit (main) is the direct successor to both Tekkit Classic and Technic.
ninjaman2 Posted November 20, 2013 Author Posted November 20, 2013 i used the link but i have already tryed it. the version that i want is the one that sips or theonlybently used so if some one could make a modpack bast* on them plz put a link down * sorry for poor spelling
dwwojcik Posted November 20, 2013 Posted November 20, 2013 I remember watching 'Sips gets technical' which was single player Technic.
freakachu Posted November 20, 2013 Posted November 20, 2013 the whole point of technic as opposed to tekkit is that technic is single player only. there's no longer such a thing as "single player only mods" at this point. it was made obsolete by version 1.3 of minecraft.
ninjaman2 Posted November 27, 2013 Author Posted November 27, 2013 I know but you can make it a multyplayer verson but with the same mods or more mods? { and possibly the texture pack}
Valkon Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 I know but you can make it a multyplayer verson but with the same mods or more mods? { and possibly the texture pack} ...that's Tekkit.
CanVox Posted November 28, 2013 Posted November 28, 2013 I know but you can make it a multyplayer verson but with the same mods or more mods? { and possibly the texture pack} As other people have said, you're probably describing tekkit, or possibly tekkit classic. Which mods in specific are you looking for?
dwwojcik Posted November 30, 2013 Posted November 30, 2013 That is the Technic pack. It was singleplayer only because before Minecraft 1.3 there had to be a separate mod for installing on the server which many of the mods in Technic did not provide.
ninjaman2 Posted November 30, 2013 Author Posted November 30, 2013 i just give up, i was one simple task carn't you do a simple task for an 11 yearold?
Valkon Posted November 30, 2013 Posted November 30, 2013 You could always show initiative and do it yourself.
Chefsbrian Posted December 2, 2013 Posted December 2, 2013 i just give up, i was one simple task carn't you do a simple task for an 11 yearold? one simple task carn't you do a simple task? carn't I laughed far to hard at this XD. But like Valkon has implied, its not particularly difficult to make a modpack, it just takes some time to sort out conflicts. Its not even as bad as it sounds, its just changing a single number in a config file 99% of the time.
Valkon Posted December 2, 2013 Posted December 2, 2013 He doesn't even have to do that, I'm pretty sure someone already reassembled the old Technic Pack and stuck it up on the Platform.
dwwojcik Posted December 2, 2013 Posted December 2, 2013 Anyone who used the original launcher probably still has the last version they used in the original directory.
freakachu Posted December 3, 2013 Posted December 3, 2013 He doesn't even have to do that, I'm pretty sure someone already reassembled the old Technic Pack and stuck it up on the Platform. indeed, I have seen it. it's out there. finding it shouldn't be too hard a task for an 11 year old, right OP?
