solved Can't Find Aluminum Ore

Hi there,

 

im a lil confused. I really cant find aluminum ore to build galacticraft stuff. I've read some rumors in galacticraft forums, it was replaced by steel ingots? But i can't produce something with steel ingots instead of alumium. I digged for days with no success, have a 100x100 quarry also. Found a lot diamonds but no aluminum. Searched it on height 13 and caves. What im doin wrong?

was the world created before glacticcraft was installed? if so the ore would not be in the world generation

also have you tried a newly created mystcraft to see if the same issue exists?

world is created with tekkit 1.2.6 and i was farfar away from home to mine in areas who doesn't existing further. in singleplayer same thing. is aluminum a very rare ore?

no, that why I was thinking it was a world generation issue

huh... digging VERY far away, i found suddenly galacticraft ores ...it WAS an world generation issue. weird ... i never installed galacticraft later ...we used plain tekkit server.

*shrug* glad you figured it out

 

mining in mystages will help too, cause they will be created with what ever world generation options the server has at time of creation, regardless of what the world had originally
