Can't Find Aluminum Ore

Recommended Posts

Hi there,

im a lil confused. I really cant find aluminum ore to build galacticraft stuff. I've read some rumors in galacticraft forums, it was replaced by steel ingots? But i can't produce something with steel ingots instead of alumium. I digged for days with no success, have a 100x100 quarry also. Found a lot diamonds but no aluminum. Searched it on height 13 and caves. What im doin wrong?

was the world created before glacticcraft was installed? if so the ore would not be in the world generation

also have you tried a newly created mystcraft to see if the same issue exists?

*shrug* glad you figured it out

mining in mystages will help too, cause they will be created with what ever world generation options the server has at time of creation, regardless of what the world had originally

Hi, so I have put together a custom 1.7.10 modpack here: https://www.technicpack.net/modpack/nakazo-modpack.1076669
The issue is that on play instead of opening for me it is crashing and bringing itself back to the technic launcher right away. Below is the log for the crash inside technic launcher:

In particular I find version.json not found and allowsUnrecognizedOptions to stand out to me, however I do not see what specifically the issue is here. Any advice?
Edit: I should mention that I have run Hexxit before, and that works fine

I have a custom modpack (actually two very similar packs, MCMinersPack and MCMinersPack Lite) in which I added the Hats mod. The Hats mod GUI will not open. (In either modpack)
I believe this is classified as an in game bug. And it happens every time attempted.
When I try to open the GUI, the screen will briefly "blink", that is, the journeymap minimap and such will disappear momentarily as if in preparation for the Hats GUI to open, and then everything goes back to normal. Also, when I kill a mob wearing a hat, I do not get a notification that should pop up telling me that I have unlocked said hat. No crashes actually happen; gameplay is practically just like the Hats mod wasn't installed, except it is.
I've tried the default keybind (H), Changing the keybind, changing all other keybinds in the pack to keys other than H; I've tried googling it but I can't seem to find a close enough related issue. the Hats mod will work in my other modpacks which have it. I've tried using iChunUtil 4.2.2 and 4.2.3. Also the packs have the Morph mod, and it uses iChunUtil, so I've tried it on 0.9.2 and 0.9.3. I am wondering if there is some mod conflict going on; but I don't see what it could be. I've tried comparing the mod lists of both MCMinersPack packs and my other packs which have Hats. I can't seem to find any inconsistencies. The Hats mod and iChunUtil should be up-to-date with the most recent 1.7.10 versions.
The modpacks are created in 1.7.10. I've been using Java 1.8.0 64-bit, and a very recent version of it. (1.8.0_121, to be specific) The versions of the mods in the packs are Hats 4.0.1 and iChunUtil 4.2.3. Also Morph version 0.9.3.
If I have not included important information, please let me know and I will include it. I have tried to comply to the rules.

      lright, here's the trouble:
Upon pressing play in any modpack (vanilla works) the launcher seemingly goes through the normal launching processes, hides itself, then reappears, having launched nothing.
      link to my log http://pastebin.com/hu3LrQuV
the modpack i initially tried is the 1.7.10 pack. I added a few other mods, but yeah. The strangest thing is it worked just fine yesterday, and i've done nothing to it since.

      Things i've tried:
Turning it off and on again
      reinstalling modpack
      installing new java
      blaming the burgeoisie
turning my computer off and on again
      reinstalling launcher
      reinstalling CodeChickenCore (wild hunch)
      blaming Obama
launching the same modpack on a different computer on the same wifi (works just fine, much to my wife's amusement and my despair)
and i compared my log to that of one other dude who had a similar error, to no avail.

Does anyone know what's wrong? Or better yet, how to fix it?
I've tried fiddling around with java, settings in the launcher, tried a few other packs, tried turning my computer off and on again, and no luck.
      here's an updated pastebin http://pastebin.com/QKXca2xY
an odd point that probably has nothing to do with the error: early on in the log it says my os is windows 8.1. i run windows 10. Just throwing that in there, in case it's at all relevant.
