Attack of the B-team won't open

Whenever I click "play" in the launcher it loads all the files then just closes. Then it goes back to the launcher screen.

I really hope someone can help me. I know that there are a few other people experiencing this issue as well.

Having the same issue. Noticed that the recommended version just changed. Not sure if that has anything to do with the issue.

You are using Java 1.6 (Java 6), you need to update to 1.7 (Java 7)

I have the current version of Java (Version 7 Update 51.) I am still having this issue though of when trying open Attack Of The B-Team, the launcher closes and opens again without opening the game. Help!

If you are using a mac i found this off the java website,

Oracle's Java version 7u25 and below have been disabled by Apple on OS X. Updating to the latest release will allow Java to be run on Mac OS X.

Since i've done that, my technic launcher fail to start, saying that it can't find the access to Java...

I deleted betterstorage mod and all went fine, it would be better to fix the java thingy though.
