trouble opening mod pack

hey I'm just wondering if there is a reason that any attack of the b-team version after 1.0.8 will not open on my macbook? every time i open it, it just instantly crashes as soon as its finished loading in the launcher. Is there any fix for this coming out or am i stuck with 1.0.8? Please help.

Update your Java to 1.7.

you don't have the correct java you need the 64bit java 7
