I downloaded a 1.6.4 Heavyfall modpack from a person I know and its installed fine but whenever I click play on the launcher, it just says 0% Verify (Not exact copy but the idea is there) and then launches the game whilst at 0%, the game then opens in the dock then closes after 2 seconds.

You have not provided enough information:

  • What modpack are you using (provide a link). For most custom pack issues one would follow up with the pack author for problems specific to the modpack.
  • Does the custom pack not work while the built-in packs from Technic work fine? If the built-in packs do not work then this issue belongs in the Tracker (link at top of this page).
  • Please provide crash reports from the modpack.

Tbh, your forum confuses me in the form of links and just stuff. Why dont you guys have spoilers?

Anyway

Modpack - http://www.technicpack.net/api/modpack/heavyfallsmp-server

So, far it's only the custom pack that doesn't load properly or has something wrong with it.

Finally, This is from the Terminal.

In the future, this is a spoiler tag:

Blah Blah long content

And it would look like this:

Blah Blah long content

As for the pack, it has a couple problems:

  • The bin folder has too much stuff in it. It should only contain the file "modpack.jar".
  • There are a couple item ID conflicts which should be resolved.

The pack works fine for me. Make sure you have the latest build of Java 7 for your OS installed.

Ok so the bin has to have literally nothing but modpack.jar. What should I do with the rest?

Also I have a mac and the OS is Snow Leoaprd (10.6.8) I know that I cant get Java 7 for this so is that a problem?

EDIT: Put this within the quote :L
