If you wanted to remove CoFHCore you would also have to remove Thermal Expansion and Redstone Arsenal since they both require CoFHCore to be present. If you look towards the tail end of your ForgeModLoader-client-0.log file you will see where the crash happens and it will be reporting that a particular class is not available. Right above there is typically the mod in question that is searching for a missing dependency mod. Quote
