bluehaze142
Ok so I am using Itemducts and tesseracts to send items to my ME system from a quarry. The first 4 I set up ran just fine no problems. But then all off sudden the Itemduct stops taking items from the chest.... So I look at it and it says it's stuffed. How do I unstuff it?
Moderators AetherPirate Posted August 27, 2014 Moderators Share Posted August 27, 2014 You can put the tesseract right on top of the quarry and eliminate the need for itemducts. What's your setup look like?
redsector
For immediate unstuffing, just shift+rightclick the ducts with the wrench to dismantle them. You won't lose anything, the items will just pop out. More generally, stuffing happens when there's no valid destination for the items within the ducts, so there's probably something wrong with the rest of your system. First thing I would check are the tesseracts: are they both active (redstone control set to to disabled or low, otherwise you have to provide a signal to switch them on), are they set to send and receive items, respectively, and are they running on the correct frequency? EvilOwl
Are all the devices chunk-loaded?
M1r077
Not all the devices are chunk loaded no. The quarry is , and it tells you in the console that it do so.
bluehaze142
Turns out it was the fact the chunks were not loaded. Thanks.
littlebit
Hello People, I have been trying out tekkit lite for a while, and I must say that I'm getting addicted... Now I have been also looking lots and lots of youtube tutorials about tekkit lite from direwolf20 and the minecrafters. In the tutorials they explained the advantage about item ducts and that concept really convinced me. But I can't find the recepie for building item ducts (lead, tin, lead). The itemduct simply doesn't apprear. The only item that comes soo close to the item duct are the fluid ducts. The version that I'am using is 1.6.5 , if someone knows a solution to my problem please let me know. Thank you in advance...
Curunir
You are most likely using Tekkit 1.2.9e, which is based on Minecraft 1.6.4. You simply got the Itemduct recipe wrong, its Tin-Lead-Tin. The transparent ones take Hardened Glass instead of Lead in the middle. All TE ducts, including Conduits, are crafted with the frame material on the edges and the side wall material in the middle.
littlebit
Yes that is true. I mentioned the order wrong. I made some screenshots in the game and linked them here... http://ibin.co/1bw6eC9CxTze http://ibin.co/1bw6rJABeXDG I have arranged to the order of "tin lead tin", as you can see in the screenshots the item duct won't appear. Moderators AetherPirate Posted September 29, 2014 Moderators Share Posted September 29, 2014 Are you sure that's tin? Looks like aluminum.
littlebit
I'm very sure because I gave myself a stack of tin and lead, as you can see in the screenshot.
Curunir
You are not using Tekkit. That's Tekkit Lite, which is an entirely different and severely outdated modpack. No wonder it won't work. Not sure if Thermal Expansion is even in there. Edited September 29, 2014 by Curunir
HeatHunter
I can see a redstone furnace, so TE might be in that pack, but would probably be outdated aswell... you might wanna take a look into the current tekkit
littlebit
The screenshots that I made in the Tekkit lite used for it had all TE items like redstone energy conduit etc. If you take a look onto the first link of my screenshot shows that the liquid duct is available for construction. Try it out and you will see.. Is there a way of reinstalling the modpack so that all the items of the modpacks, if there are more missing, will be available again. Since I'm new at doing such a thing, I hope that the you guys have the patience of elaborating that in steps. Thank you in advance.
Curunir
Items will only be missing if you messed around with the modpack. You can always open the modpack options in the launcher (cogwheel icon under the modpack) and choose to reset the pack. As for your issue, it might be that you are trying with Tin from another mod, which is not oredicted and thus not recognized as proper Tin for the recipe. The real solution is dropping that ancient modpack and switching to Tekkit Main. If you want to keep using Lite, go here for gameplay help. In the future, please check first what you are using and go to the correct forum, and also try not to hijack unrelated threads. HeatHunter
and also Tekkit Lite != Tekkit like others have posted previously Tekkit Lite is old, outdated and not under maintenance any longer... So all the mods included in Tekkit Lite might be outdated aswell. Your Version of TE might not contain the Itemducts... Your Problem is probably solved by installing another modpack called Tekkit using the launcher EvilOwl
