Jason_Anaminus Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 Logs: http://paste.ubuntu.com/8210004/ My friend is getting this problem and he cannot play a custom modpack. But I and other people can do. I didn't quite get whats the problem on this log. Anyone can explain and how to fix it? Also I am really sorry if this is the wrong forum to post this. Thanks.
Kalbintion Posted September 2, 2014 Posted September 2, 2014 Java version is slightly outdated, latest is java 7u67, theyre running u51. This isn't the issue though and the issue is related to failing to download. Chances are security software is getting in the way. Disable it temporarily (google for instructions) then try again, if the issue is resolved, add technicpack.net and minecraft.net to the security softwares exception lists (google for instructions).
Jason_Anaminus Posted September 2, 2014 Author Posted September 2, 2014 (edited) Edit: Nope disabling protection didn't work for him. And yes he is sure that he disabled all of the protection systems he has. Another solution? Edited September 2, 2014 by Jason_Anaminus
Jason_Anaminus Posted September 2, 2014 Author Posted September 2, 2014 I know that he could use 1.6.4 pack but not 1.7.10 pack. Does java that matters?
Discord Moderator plowmanplow Posted September 2, 2014 Discord Moderator Posted September 2, 2014 The dependency loader is failing to download dependencies. While this is obviously not good, it highlights the need to pre-load all the dependencies for the pack instead of relying on the deploader.
