lags on single player

i have 2 gb of ram allocated to it, but it still has major lag spikes. on wifi and off 

 

Specs:

Processor: AMD A6-4400M APU with Radeon HD

Graphics: 2.70GHz

Installed memory (RAM): 4.00GB (3.47 GB usuable)

System type: 64-bit operating system, x64-based processssor

 

 

 

 

It is a pavilion g6 laptop

Your specs mean nothing to me and could very well be a spell to summon Beëlzebub, but I can tell you that AotBT is quite an intensive pack and this will have a toll on a lot of systems.

 

Have you tried different settings? Fast instead of Fancy textures? Shorter render distances? Stuff like that?

I tend to go with 2gb allocation, lighting at minimum, set for Max FPS, v-sync off, running at full screen possibly with clouds off.

It is a setting in the video options.

I'm no computer genius, but you should try installing Optifine. It really improves my framerate.
