Tekkie Classic Not Starting

When ever i start up Tekkit Classic, my game just enters a white screen.

I am using a Mac (Yosemite) Java 8.

I have worked it out,

I uninstalled Java Development Kit 8 (Search it up on google) then i went to the java website and installed Java 7.

I hope this helps you too.
