Kingfisher1112 Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 Hello guys, I need help. I have had a family of ducks in my computer for 3 weeks. It causes crashes and blindness. Now, as it turns out Microsoft don't cover ducks in warranty. So, I need a link to a DIY duck removal guide. Quote
FloppyDingo Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 This is a serious problem many technic users face on a regular basis. I personally just soaked my computer in duck repellant and haven't had any problems since. Make sure your anti-duck software is up to date to prevent future infestations as well. http://www.liquidfence.com/duck-turkey-goose-repellent.html Quote
TheGuy Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 I used to have them.. little wankers. Just spray some Duck-Ex and you'll be fine! Quote
Jay? Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 I used to have them.. little wankers. Just spray some Duck-Ex and you'll be fine! Microsoft doesn't handle duck removal because they are primarily a software company. They could probably handle duck removal from the Xbox, but everyone knows that bees are a much more common threat to the 360. You should be calling our machines manufacturer. Dell's customeer support will try to tell you that you dont have ducks though, and wont be helpful until you reach at least a 2nd tier tech support specialist. Quote
Lear85 Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 [thick_indian_accent]Have you tried turning the ducks off and back on again? Try unplugging the ducks. You don't know how to unplug the wireless duck? Please hold[/accent] *irritating hold music* Quote
jakj Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 Oh my god, explaining my email address to an Indian was the worst four minutes of my entire life other than surgery; Never called again. Thank goodness I'm competent on my own. Quote
Kingfisher1112 Posted June 4, 2012 Author Posted June 4, 2012 None of those work. I rang Dell and sent them a picture, but apparently duckling removal costs my soul. Quote
miniboxer Posted June 6, 2012 Posted June 6, 2012 Whatever you do, keep that computer cold. If it overheats, they come out, and VERY angry. Still missing part of my earlobe from my encounter with the PC ducks. Quote
jakj Posted June 6, 2012 Posted June 6, 2012 This is what happens when you piss off the ducks: http://kol.coldfront.net/thekolwiki/index.php/Defowl_the_Farm Quote
Industrial Miner Posted June 7, 2012 Posted June 7, 2012 Try to encase that computer and shove it in a furnace. That will fry those little squacks. Quote
Coppersmith Barbet Posted June 7, 2012 Posted June 7, 2012 You could also try using a platypus. God knows ducks hate those things. Quote
Jay? Posted June 7, 2012 Posted June 7, 2012 You could also try using a platypus. God knows ducks hate those things. Only because the ancient platypus stole the bill of the dicks ancestor. Dude was a dick. Quote
Blank_space Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 But an effective one. they can de-fowl at a rate of around 23 DPM Quote
The_DarthMoogle Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 All I could find was this. God help you if it mutates your ducks. Good luck. Quote
