  1. It begins. Much to my chagrin, I actually tried Greggytook. S'pretty bad stuff. Also Greg hates Technic, funny since his mod has the suffix -tech in it.

  4. Linkbooks teleport you to the place and age they were made at. You can use a linkbook modifier to make a way of transporting around the same age you're in.
  5. It's the texture pack, I can see the rotten flesh is from Faithful. Get the updated version when it comes out.

  7. It's how they made the texture of the zombie. The texture is higher than usual, making the body texture apply to the head. They also for some reason sign the empty space or something.

  10. Eh, I can't really rag on one of my favorite mod makers. If push comes to shove I think CJ'll readd his mod to Tekkit. Fingers crossed. In terms of that license I bet he would if he read the forums anymore.

  13. Xeno promised we'd get something better to replace all the things taken out. It seems to be more of a a matter of patience here. Either way, EE3's still not done yet so I'm excited to see new, fresh features.
  14. Oh well now I feel silly. I actually tried out Gregtech with IC2 installed and played it 'til I got my machines set up. It does alter gameplay dramatically, and not for the best. It's not even interesting things, it's just there to be annoying. I feel so bad.
  15. What part of the OP's message didn't you understand? He installed it into, what I'm assuming, Tekkit Lite. The users'll get up in arms about getting things readded (I can see it happening with railcraft) and the team will have to get permission.

  17. Maybe it has to do with the fact you have to ask for permission to use it in modpacks, and since none of the Technic team has asked he wants to make sure they don't? God forbid you safeguard your stuff until you reach an agreement.

  19. Well I can understand how you wouldn't be able to start over on servers; you'll be tempted to run back to your base and grab some materials. I actually get bored with a world once I hit iron. Really. That fast. Then I got Tekkit and was always busy with so much stuff I didn't have the chance to get bored.
