I think what my college is trying to say is "Don't distribute the entire Minecraft package" As that is technically illegal. The Modpack.jar we distribute is just all the mods, lined up to be conveniently installed over a copy properly acquired from Mojang, which is legal.

I wasn't aware custom packs supported such a feature without making it a solder API Pack. Did you set up your pack as a solder pack?

You'd probably not want to do that, and host them seperate instead. Hosting multiple versions under one download would lead to minecraft attempting to install numerous different, conflicting versions.

Are you using any special world gen settings? Large biomes, disabled the generation of structures, ect? Also; OS: 00359-OEM-8992687-00010 is not an operating system. If anything, thats your windows license key, judging by the OEM label.

The problem is a mod that you had has been removed, causing the world to fail to load. Also, for future reference with error reports, verify that you actually have the latest version of java as opposed to assuming, for latest version is 7-45, you are running 7-21.

Try updating your java, and following the other common problems and solutions posts.

Its just something blocking access. It could be a antivirus, it could be a parental control, I can't tell what it is, but something is forbiding the launcher from doing things.

Well your error report basically is saying that the Technic launcher is being blocked from accessing the internet, it can't communicate with any services that it tries.

Two possible issues show up... Launcher Version: 2.0.4 Upgrade to the current launcher version, your approximately 170 versions behind. Max Memory: 247 MB This can't be right. Try raising the allocated memory for the launcher, I'd imagine that memory allocation that low could literally break some processes. Disable your antivirus as well, just in case its blocking something.

If issue is still ongoing, try clearing your computers history, cookies, and cache. Disable your antivirus as well, if possible.

Make sure you have the newest version of java installed. 1.5.2 is not a java version that would have been valid two years ago, if at all. If issue persists, refer to the common bugs and solutions post.

Find this C:/Users/Ricky/AppData/Roaming/.technic/modpacks/hexxit/config/MapWriter.cfg:1 And delete that file. Launch the game and it should redownload. If issue persists, Delete the whole Hexxit folder. Some config file died and needs to be replaced.

Step number one would be downloading a version of the launcher that exists in this universe. But if that doesn't help... If you still have troubles after all of that, you'll want to contact mojang support, as they don't believe you have a minecraft account. This is PC minecraft, not Console or Mobile, right?

The server on the other side of the world would be irrelevent, as your not the server. Unfortunately, we do not support custom modpacks via the launcher, you'll need to contact the pack author for support on their specific pack.
