  1. Try updating your graphics driver and Java, disable your antivirus, and removing your texture pack.
  2. Well if/when this Modding API they've teased for nearly a year hits, I can see lots of good material show up as modders inevitably fight over everything. Between now and then, we shall sit back, and feed upon those silly enough to post their errors in cafe lame, all while silently chanting dark incantations in the hope of accelerating the updating of their modpack of choice.
  3. I laughed far to hard at this XD. But like Valkon has implied, its not particularly difficult to make a modpack, it just takes some time to sort out conflicts. Its not even as bad as it sounds, its just changing a single number in a config file 99% of the time.
  4. Indeed. Although Pains isn't just dumb people. Pains is the best arguments two sides can field. Or one argument and one person wimpering softly and being beaten into a pulp *Glances at luke*
  5. I read that as "Cut the power cord off your pc" And I was happy for a minute.
  6. Because 1.6.4 was a bugfix for client issues, 1.6.2 is still the current server version. Anyhow, Java has stupid stupid issues with memory management, its leakier than a noob with fluid pipes. Of course if you wanted any real support, we would highly advise posting into the bug section of this forum, where we would promptly inform you that we don't offer support for custom modpacks, and would advise you to contact the mod author. Who would tell you that its not a modpack issue since its working for others. Are you using 64 bit or 32 bit OS? And same for java? Because if you awnser either "32 Bit" or "I don't know" Then that is your problem.
  7. Does it give the same issue running with the vanilla launcher? And have you tried running it with your antivirus disabled?
  8. If you want us to provide thorough help, we will need console logs. Best result if you'd follow the board instructions and post a full bug report, the form will tell you exactly what you need to provide to us at first.
  9. I'd recommend updating Java, your at least 35 versions behind.
  10. Well it could be a forge error, but its difficult to be certain as the core error is a packet issue
  11. And I'd assume you've already updated your graphics drivers to the newest versions as well?
  12. Try updating your LWJGL and see if that helps.
  13. It looks like your modpack was built incorrectly, as the error isn't a block error, its a server communications error.
  14. Just because your machine seems like it can handle at a certain level, never underestimate the ability for two simultaneous programs to absolutely ruin each other's performance, regardless of the setup.
  15. Yea, forge is missing a number of critical files, the version.json included. The rest of the issues stem from that.
  16. try navigating to the powersuit config file under .technic, and changing bloom multiplier from One, to Zero
  17. Caused by: java.io.FileNotFoundException: .\config\NEIServer.cfg (The requested operation cannot be performed on a file with a user-mapped section open) Close any config files and explorer windows you have open before running the batch file (Make it a desktop shortcut or something) Because it can't write its config because something else is opening it.
  18. Try giving it some positive encouragement, maybe a little pep talk. Make it feel welcome, you know?
  19. That... Should mean we should pay attention. It doesn't usually happen, and now things are breaking XD. Anyhow, TheByteMaster is right about it dying trying to find table connections. But not because its brute forcing, I think. The log says its creating the buildcraft fake player, AFTER the entire thing dies... For lack of a better way to say it, the server is running its startup arse backwards. The only other error is towny failing, and I'm not sure if the two are connected.

    Starting Tekkit

Oh, I've seen this issue. Error Messages: // There are four lights! Your Minecraft install is being interrogated by Cardassians! No, but to be properly serious here.... java.lang.RuntimeException: java.lang.RuntimeException: java.io.FileNotFoundException: C:\Users\Cup (The system cannot find the file specified) The Java install is either missing pieces, or isn't allowed to use them. Its not Tekkit, its your Java install. Try using the uninstall utility for Java, and then installing the 64bit version of Java.
  21. Sorry, the issue doesn't appear to be with the launcher, but minecrafts authentication servers. 2013/11/09 23:13:49 [sEVERE] net.technicpack.launchercore.exception.AuthenticationNetworkFailureException: An error was raised while attempting to communicate with auth.minecraft.net.
  22. Update Java to the newest version, and disable your antivirus. Overzealous antivirus programs like to eat things that are doing alot of stuff in user related parts of the machine, Roaming Appdata included.
  23. Do you have a partially built/damaged airlock? or do you have a particularly massive oxygenated area? Because something in the setup was broken, and it broke bad enough that minecraft threw its arms up in disgust, and may have said a few choice words about your family. Minecraft can be a dick like that. Basically, how big is your base?
  24. Put the log onto pastebin and fire the link off here. You usually see that sort of issue for mismatching versions of things, such as using an older version of forge than a mod will support, or putting a newer mod into an older version, ect.
