  1. Can you post the whole log then?
  2. Jdk is java development kit, jre is regular java. So make sure that both of you use jre, not jdk.
  3. Is that the entire log? You seem to be missing a large volume of error report, considering that MFFS is usually not the first thing to be loaded. Still, a nullpointer probably means your clients gone all funky on you, seems to be java doing the wobbly part though.
  4. If no plugins have changed or anything, it looks like the plugin manager was probably updated, because a bug like this would be well known otherwise, redpower is pretty heavily used. The below says that the "Simple Plugin Manager" Tried to do something and completely died in the process. So its looking like your plugin manager choked on something. 18.02 20:38:24 [server] SEVERE at org.bukkit.plugin.SimplePluginManager.fireEvent(SimplePluginManager.java:502) 18.02 20:38:24 [server] SEVERE at org.bukkit.event.Event.getEventName(Event.java:31) 18.02 20:38:24 [server] SEVERE at java.lang.Class.getSimpleName(Class.java:1132) 18.02 20:38:24 [server] SEVERE at java.lang.Class.getSimpleBinaryName(Class.java:1240) 18.02 20:38:24 [server] SEVERE at java.lang.Class.getEnclosingClass(Class.java:1101) 18.02 20:38:24 [server] SEVERE at java.lang.Class.getEnclosingMethodInfo(Class.java:949) 18.02 20:38:24 [server] SEVERE at java.lang.Class.getEnclosingMethod0(Native Method) 18.02 20:38:24 [server] SEVERE java.lang.StackOverflowError
  5. Did you check to see if the server part of factions needs a diiferent version of the software than the client pack? thats probably your problem.
  6. Read the "Common problems and solutions" Post pinned right at the top there, seems like your awnser is in there, if not ruling out some possibilities to make trouble shooting easier.
  7. You sure your Running this in 1.4.7? Because EVERY single mod loading there is pulling up 1.2.5 versions of everything. The launcher is being told to load Technicssp, which is currently 1.2.5 only. Tekkit lite is 1.4.7, but thats not what your error log is loading. Are you running the .exe or the .jar of the Technic CLIENT? not the modpack, the launcher itself. 32 bit systems seem to be a little picky most of the time.
  8. There's an edit button, for future reference, use that. Anyhow, based off of what you've given me, I'd suggest that you should have browsed the big pinned "Common problems and solutions" first. This little gem was inside of it: The launcher freezes on a white screen when I log in. Sometimes the lwjgl (Light Weight Java Games Library) binaries just don't work for everyone. Disable lwjgl by opening the launcher and clicking "Options" above the log in field. Then uncheck "Use latest LWJGL binaries".
  9. Try not using a School network to download the client. Panda is a Barricuda program, I know from personal experience Barricuda is a web restriction software thats very popular in schools, and very good at blocking gaming. If its not a school network, I can tell you that Barricuda is on whatever network you have on hand. But I'm putting my money down on "Running at school/work"
  10. Did you try turning it off and back on again? Seriously, a computer reboot might be all it needs, if not, save your world manually, Delete the Technic Launcher folder, and reinstall.
  11. Why are you trying to run in JDK? just use JRE, like its supposed to be used. If your trying to use the Dev Kit to override the authentication process of minecraft, the Technic launcher will refuse anything other than a direct connection with the minecraft site, plain and simple. We don't help pirate accounts.
  12. Java Version: guessing java 7, not sure though Can you be more specific? Is it "Not sure" Version 4, or Version 5? But seriously, that will help, and either way, it looks like some plugin manager is calling a function that fails to close itself, completely overflowing the server with data, killing it in its tracks. Taking a wild guess, Redstone creates "Fakeplayer" For a few of its more unique functions, a plugin manager based around player permissions could be screwing it up, but I have absolutely no evidence to base that on.
  13. I've seen the Error before, aside from Updating like listed above, Disabling Matmos fixed the issue before. Try that out.
  14. Does the server client have Factions installed on it as well?
  15. That... Is beautiful. I'd have less than no idea what exactly to build with it, but I can only imagine what sort of systems could be built off of this. Although I don't think I'd be much up for using that when I can't even really grasp Redpower's language (Fourth or Forth? XD)
  16. Are you using a 32bit or 64bit OS? I found that until I upgraded to 64bit windows and Java, I wasn't able to convince the client to accept more than 480mb of ram, even when I edited the Executible to directly assign more Ram to the process.
  17. The error message is pretty clear, tekkit ran outta ram. Use the settings menu to change it to a higher number.
  18. The error message is pretty clear, tekkit ran outta ram. Use the settings menu to change it to a higher number.
  19. Coreprotect is blocking the area from being dug out, since the quarry isn't the owner of the area in question
  20. Try posting in the bug forum and writing a real bug report there.
  21. What sort of universal secrets are hidden in that gibberish script? XD. But seriously, just correct all them Id conflicts, then you should be good to go, barring any critical conflicts. And as said above, config and readme files are your friends.
  22. Those have no effect on this, its between IC and nether ores. I'll test when I get home from work though. UPDATE: Successfully macerated Iron and Gold nether ore's in Tekkit Classic, They do produce directly to dust though, IE each ore provide a full 4 dust.
  23. Also, Intel graphics chips are terrible pieces, so your going to be stuck with the lowest settings for the foreseeable future. The above should work fine though.
  24. Can you properly fill out the error report? Can you provide the java version, windows version and the crash log from when you connect? Can you spell?
  25. Speaking as as a artist, why would I offer my art for a commercial project without promise of compensation. Sounds like your asking for original pieces, and I'd like to be paid for the pieces. If it's a free little thing as either between friends or for open distribution, then take them off the web, Google 'em, etc. Not to mention making a good sci fi rpg game would require a good universe, established "rules" for the tech, and the like. Provide all that, and maybe I might have some interest in this. Also, get chrome, or Firefox, or opera. Or a dictionary. Or disconnect the cable in the back of the computer, it is what's blocking autocorrect.
