  1. Alright, it might not be crystal clear, but i bothered to do some digging for you, and it turns out that the FTB wiki has details on the newer stuff. Not a how to guide overall, but should give you an idea of what does what where. I got a functional field out of it in a few minutes in creative. Here, http://feed-the-beast.wikia.com/wiki/MFFS
  2. Easier to beat with a Diamond Pickaxe. He asked how to prevent Ctrl-T, Thats how. He could always embed the computer wholly into a wall, present only the front. Placing a disk drive would then prevent access to the machine. Done.
  3. I'd play around with it in Creative mode before you create a dedicated system, but the Tekkit Tutorial should be applicable, as far as I'm aware, its the same systems, except they replaced EU with an equilivant UE power requirement. If your still stumbling, check the Voltz wiki/forum itself
  4. There is a hook you can place into the running applications to Disable the Ctrl-T commands, Best if you make the boot app the reader, and make sure its a closed program, IE every possible output will reset the program, handle exceptions by Rebooting the machine if need be. Just place this bit of code in the very first line of your program, but be sure that it runs flawlessly before you do so. os.pullEvent = os.pullEventRaw
  5. .... If you have a 64 bit OS, make sure you switch to 64 bit java. Otherwise, Your going to have a bad time.
  6. What sort of machine would be hosting, and recording?
  7. Well let's say I'm interested, but can't host a server. What plan do you have for hosting then?
  8. So you want somebody to make you a server, for your idea? What would this yogcast remake entice, exactly? What makes it different, special, amusing, etc...
  9. So you want.... somebody to shout at you angrily until the server is set up? You haven't even so much as mentioned what the help you need with the server. If you like the shouting idea, I'd love to provide.
  10. Thats.... Well, thats just great. Nobody would offer a free server. Even if they had a machine, spare, ready to go, they wouldn't be offering it free, because they would still have to pay for the electricity AND bandwidth to run it. So its not just somebody turning on an unused box for you, its them shelling their money out for your gaming. Just pay the $8-$12 a month for a proper hosting service, if you want a proper hosted server.
  11. Open the file in something other than Notepad (Notepad ++ is good for this, free and the like) and then you can move the error log over from there. Just use the right click-open with option once you have it installed. As for java version, just go to the java site. If you've got the latest, it will tell you, if you don't, you'll be needing to upgrade anyhow, so might as well go there. FYI, opening anything other than .txt files in Notepad is usually a bad idea, its notorious for chewing up file formats, then saving them like that, breaking it. Like I said, Notepad ++
  12. Would you check, perhaps? If your uncertain, google how to. You have to be able to provide the information we need, and you need to be able to aquire this stuff yourself. Its basic computer knowledge.
  13. Things that need to be in a specific pattern, as opposed to those which don't
  14. Uh.... dude, your running some very old java, and technic is quirky enough on 32 bit systems as is. Upgrade java then try again
  15. More so, best to brush up on new nuclear systems all together, lotsa changes there
  16. running 64 bit or 32 bit OS, and same question for your Java version
  17. Question, are you setting your Client to have all that 14gb avaliable, or are you setting your server to have all that memory? Because If your not giving the server enough memory, or have slow internet, both will cause issues for you, and then your friend.
  18. We are being as such because simply put, thats being lazy. It would take more time to make the posts you did than to find the proper board as was mentioned.
  19. Do you have any crash logs, errors, ect? And what message was Lite giving you, perchance?
  20. Fill out the OS version and Java versions, give us the proper crash log, and we might be able to help.
  21. .... Scroll down the forum main page until you see the section listed as the bug forum for your respective version of tekkit, either lite or classic.
  22. All the same, there is no way to cheat through and have multiple players on one account. ^Never heard of trying that, I'd think It would cause a issue with both players being on the same server though...
  23. I can actually say thats not the case, I've macerated Nether ore's directly before. However, that was in technic, not tekkit. Without more info, I'd just say spend the few pieces of coal/charcoal.
  24. Head over to the Tekkit Bug report page, follow the procedure there and we may be able to sort the issue.
  25. Post in the proper mod bug section with your problems in the required format. If the community can't sort the issue out, the admins will find it there anyhow. Reading the Forum rules is suggested as well, as they contain this line: No PMing Admins or Mods with bug reports. - You will not get special private help. We don't have time for that. Edit: Jeeze, Ninja's man
