  1. The server world would be in the world folder of the server. If you want a actual visual map, there's some programs out there that can generate one if you google for 'em. If its giving you a non existance error, make sure the Tekkit server is set up correctly, and update your java to the newest version, Java 7 Update 40.
  2. http://forums.technicpack.net/threads/nei-common-problems-and-fixes.2206/ Due to the particularly scant post above, this is the best guide I can recommend.
  3. Slot 241 is already occupied by codechicken.enderstorage.BlockEnderChest@196a1a66 when adding ic2.common.BlockRubSapling@4eb2b93 Well, there's yer problem. Go into the IC2 config and change the rubber sapling from ID 241 to something else. Repeat for any other conflicts.
  4. And after that, it completely failed to launch? or failed to log in? Because that particular boot log is clean as a whistle, not a hitch in sight. Could you confirm the Java version for us?
  5. Try not to double post, we have an edit button for a reason, keeps things clean. Anyhow, do you make it to the screen where you can pick the modpack, or does it not make it that far?
  6. Oh I've seen this before. Its an issue with OpenAL and MaTMOS. I believe F5 is the shortkey to disable it, if not, its one of the F keys, it should say on screen disabled, and you should hear the difference. Lemme know if that fixes it.
  7. Looks like an Issue with the Forge Mod Loader host site, bunch of the files the server wants to download no longer exist on their site. http://www.minecraftforge.net/forum/index.php/topic,20.0.html Is the FML common issues page, there seems to be a fix for it their if you know your way around a server file.
  8. DAYUMN. Hows it like living in the future? but it sounds like a memory leak issue. How much memory do you have allocated to it? And could you dig out the Crash log as well?
  9. Next time, please provide the crash log for the crash. And if its a white screen freeze, I'd recommend reading the pinned topic labeled "ATTENTION: COMMON BUGS AND FIXES" to find your answer.
  10. I'm sorry, Video cards at school? Are you trying to run the modpack on a School PC?
  11. My apologies for confusion. I don't pretend to know alot of this stuff, I just try to help the best I can with the knowledge and resources at hand. And he said that launching the game still means he "Can't see what he's doing", which indicates the problem persists after logging in, which leads me to think the LWJGL is giving a fit. Now one curious thing I breezed over the first time, was that installing java worked until the next reboot of the machine.... Thats not exactly a common way for problems to manifest. At the same time, the issue isn't Java, Windows seven, launcher version, or Bit type, for I am running 7-64 with JRE7-15, which is leading me to look at the LWJGL drivers, because those are very finnicky, and literally just fail to work from time to time. The alternative explanation would be something in your computer hardware itself thats disagreeing with this setup.
  12. Alright, Standard trouble shooting list. Disable your antivirus (Not just game mod, I mean completely off), AV programs, even if set in a "lite" type mode, absolutely HATE programs loading files from the internet to restricted pathways, and Appdata is considered Hidden. As for finding the .Technic folder, Go to the start menu, and in search, type in %appdata% and it should open the folder that contains .minecraft and .technic. If Technic managed an error log (Not likely though) It would be there.
  13. The launcher freezes on a white screen when I log in. Sometimes the lwjgl (Light Weight Java Games Library) binaries just don't work for everyone. Disable lwjgl by opening the launcher and clicking "Options" above the log in field. Then uncheck "Use latest LWJGL binaries" Quoted directly from the post in question.
  14. Do you have an antivirus program running? If so, disabling it/adding Technic to the trusted programs list could fix the problem.
  15. Actually thats the Java error log, so I'd say that you don't have 64 bit Java installed, I'd definately fix that. And is your account an admin account, and are you running Technic as an admin? Because the default path for the game to be under is in Appdata, thats considered a hidden folder, so if your not an Admin, the system will not be able to find it, hence the access denied error.
  16. That... Is not super descriptive. Navigate to your Tekkit folder and just delete it, sounds like somethings gone buggered in there.
  17. Well the big issue will be that most of those plugins are likely 1.4.6 versions, so you'll need to get a hold of the 1.2.5 versions to install them into Classic. Aside from that, just follow their provided install instructions. Keep in mind that signing your posts is against the forum rules, reading them would be a good idea.
  18. Try switching to Tekkit lite first, seems like those are 1.4.6 versions of the mods. However, a few may need to be manually installed, as I don't believe that Railcraft is in the new version of Lite by default.
  19. You'll be wanting a chunk loader. Search it up in NEI, it basically just keeps the area you select around it loaded, so they keep working. Keep in mind, the more of them you have going, the more stress on the machine, so don't use too many of them. Also, Don't sign your posts, thats against the forum rules. I'd advise reading them.
  20. Well yea, unless you had set the text to be part of the startup program, and even then, you'd have to manually restart the computers so far as I know. So to save it, easiest method would be to make the computers startup program display the text.
  21. It did tell you what was wrong. All the same, Authentication errors can't really be solved by us. You didn't, per chance, have your minecraft account changed into a Mojang account, did you? That questions towards both of you.
  22. Eh, its more like a test, almost. User error or not, this still qualifies as a bug, because something in the client broke and your not immediately sure what the cause was.
  23. Looks like RP Base and RP World both threw fatal exceptions, try upgrading from java 7.10 to java 7.13 and see if it helps out. And next time, report into the proper error report section, alright?
  24. My apologies, but as far as I'm aware, the problem isn't with the technic client, but its with Minecraft itself, which is booted by the technic client. Minecraft won't run in anything other than JRE, else one could feasibly use JDK to "Fake" an authentication response from the Minecraft server (So far as I'm aware, at least) So the Launcher doesn't care, but the communication to the Minecraft server will fail under JDK. Addendum: This is from my avaliable knowledge. The error could be in the minecraft setup, the error could be in the communication between the launcher and the minecraft system itself.
  25. Test if quarries work elsewhere in the server, if not, then buildcraft wasn't given the right permissions for the quarry.
