  1. Indeed, we do have no obligation to support any custom packs on the service, but if the awnser is known, it causes no harm to provide it.
  2. Level storage version: 0x00000 - Unknown? (For reference, that should be Anvil, I believe) There is something off with this server. I will repeat one more time. Issue is with server files, contact server provider for assistance. Technic is dying because of instructions provided by the server. Server is issue.
  3. I am referring to the server map. But as your update has provided, its not likely a map issue. Please ensure your config files match the config files on the server. If your server provider provides a FTP service, use it to download the server config files and replace your config with that.
  4. Issue lies with server. May be related to java. you've posted in the wrong area and you've ignored my initial suggestions to update your crap, and now your wasting time here as opposed to doing so. Backing up the server will fix zero issues. His server is doing something weird. Something about THIS PARTICULAR SERVER AND CONNECTION is weird. Its not likely you as other servers worked. ergo, it is his server. So I repeat. "Contact Server host for further solutions beyond the one I have provided".
  5. My game of the year? Hrm. Well, based off of sheer entertainment value that I got out of it, and limiting my choices to releases that are complete as of this year... Nobody. Nobody gets the award. What? I can't do that. Shit. Uhh.... Well then the Last of Us because at least it actually felt like a survival horror game. I'd love to praise it on story, but there where so many good story games this year, but this one's gameplay made me play through three or four times. But its a bit of a dull year for games. Nobody really pulled any awesome moves, what with the generation ending, as was to be expected. BUT WE GOT THE GALACTIC CIVILIZATIONS 3 ANNOUNCEMENT SO I AM DONE WITH EVERYTHING AND I NEED THAT GAME. Ahem. What I ment to say was the announcements for the future, excited me much more than any one title in the present year. Oculus rift support for War Thunder, Oculus rift in general, Watch Dogs, Galciv 3, The new Mount and Blade (If we ever get a solid announcement date for Bannerlord) and all the indie ilk continuing to churn out amazing stuff. Well, thats my 6am rant, AND AWAY!
  6. Perhaps. Ensure your not using any experimental or beta builds if that's the case.
  7. Your java is twenty versions out of date, your bug report is in the wrong section entirely, and the issue is with the configuration of the server your attempting to connect with, as its being instructed to render the impossible by the server. Contact server host for further solutions, but its not your client, so far as I can tell.
  8. Mekanism failed to render a multi-block texture while loading the texture pack. Remove the texture pack. If issue persists, remove Mekanism, and see if the issue continues, as to verify that it's actually the problem.
  9. Might I recommend moving up to Standard Tekkit, or looking into installing Applied Energistics? What your reporting above is most likely an issue thats been resolved since, or could be avoided entirely with AE and its crafting system.
  10. Update your graphics drivers. Google will be your friend in this case. Also, ensure your OS is a 64 bit OS, as you've got the 64 bit java installed. If issue persists, try updating LWJGL (Once again, google is your friend) As its *possible* For that to cause some weird issues.
  11. Version 3.1.2? Are you using the technic launcher as provided from technicpack.net, or did you download your launcher from another site?
  12. Chefsbrian

    has Crashed.

Out of memory error. You are running a 32 bit OS, and hexxit is a fairly large modpack. You may want to consider an upgrade in the near future, as you've already maxed what a 32 bit OS can give. In the meantime, there are a few tricks listed in the common problems and solutions post, try those.
  13. Hmm. As a test, Remove your current map to somewhere safe, and replace it with a new random map, and see if the issue persists.
  14. Hosting through the technic launcher will allow a user to download the pack "Automatically" To the correct location on their computer just by adding the pack to their list (As simple as pasting a link) It doesn't get much simpler than that.
  15. In this case, he is referring to the need to disable your antivirus. Please disable McAfee completely, and then attempt to continue. And in the future, please READ the entirety, not just skim. If you had read, you would know that the issue could have been this.
  16. I think you need to read the thread I linked you to. MCEdit is entirely seperate from minecraft and technic launcher, and loads the world itself, on its own, strictly to clean up things like this. as a result, its not loading the mod that is breaking everything, but just letting you go into the world and remove the broken bit.
  17. Indeed it was. But in my opinion, its successor is much better, no fiddling with special furnaces, ect just to run some redwire cable. Project red+Redstone in motion is much better for my use, and I don't miss blutricity in the slightest. I will miss the absolute bafflement I had trying to figure out fourth, however. Oh, how spoiled I am on ComputerCraft.
  18. Please verify your java version and post it here. Otherwise, make sure there is no instances of minecraft running, modded, vanilla or otherwise.
  19. Sorry, Java is not a supported OS for technic pack's and launcher, please replace your current OS with a supported OS, and then reinstall the launcher. If issue persists, correctly fill out the error report form.

    Sound

Sorry, Technic launcher doesn't support OS 1.7. Please install a supported OS from a local computer software provider, and then attempt to launch everything. If issue persists, please correctly fill out the error report in the future
  21. Try updating to OSX 10.9 (Maverick, I believe) And disable your antivirus.
  22. Try disabling your antivirus. If issue persists, back up your worlds and reinstall the launcher. The issue is usually the mojang servers melting under some sort of stress, but it can also be caused by something in the launcher dying (Very unlikely, but possible) And commonly, antivirus freaks out about the connection request, and blocks it.
  23. Antivirus Program: Don't have one, atleast I don't think so This is something an antivirus could impede (Even window's defender, really could block it) Also, verify that, for absolute certain, you are running java 1.7 version 45 (Or higher, if behold, they release some version between this post and when you read it)
  24. One of my coworkers said thats a game he plays online, and was acting as if he was all mysterious for playing this game that nobody else had heard of. I then proceeded to mention that was the game that got in trouble for using the Adult only rating without having actually, you know, earned it XD. Good times, his reaction. Good times... But regardless, as said, Google servers ads up by batches from providers, and their providers will lose ten malicious ads, and make a hundred more to replace it. It can be blocked with consistent vigilence, but this is a volunteer bit, and with the average intelligence of some of the people we get, I couldn't imagine being here all the time worth it regardless of the money XD
