  1. java -Xmx[ram amount] -Xms[ram amount] -jar [server jar file].jar -o true pause Is that the code for the .bat script you are using? If so, how about your Java version?
  2. Are you using MCPC+? And can you provide a copy of the crash report?
  3. Make sure you portforwarded your router...otherwise, just use Logmein Hamachi.
  4. For some apparent reason, Forge tends to do that when launching older versions of Forge. The only way I can help you is to give you those needed files since I fixed the download from copying the libraries folder from another Forge 1.5.2 server I previously had.
  5. I can help you, but first of all, what operating system (Windows, Mac, or Linux) do you use?
  6. It appears that there is something conflicting with the teams that are part of the Flans Mod whenever that person joins. I may be wrong however.
  7. I looked over the crash report...it seems that he IS missing the main galacticraft mod, however the the galacticraft planets isn't required but can be added in.
  8. He has MicdoodleCore-says so here:Micdoodlecore{} [Micdoodle8 Core] (minecraft.jar) Unloaded and here:Micdoodlecore{} [Micdoodle8 Core] (minecraft.jar) Unloaded->Constructed->Pre-initialized->Initialized->Post-initialized->Available For Joel Draper: If you want, you can send me a link to the modpack and I can create the sever for you and test run it as well.
  9. Well first of all, make sure you have an FTP software like Filezilla so you can transfer the server files over to ubuntu server. If you want, make sure you have a SSH program like PuTTY in order to run commands from your desktop computer rather than the server computer. For Java, (I can't remember what command I used to install Java since it's been half a year since I did that on my server) you would type sudo apt-get install openjdk-7-jre-headless. For the Tekkit part, download the server files, extract them into a folder on your desktop or someplace you can access easily, and connect to the server via FTP (I pretty sure that you also have to port forward your router for port 22 since FTP and SSH would be using that port and also 25565 for Minecraft) and then drag all of the extracted files into a directory in the server. From there you can right click the server.properties file and edit it as well as the launch.sh. Now in order to run the server, you have to type this command in(this is how I would do it if I had the server files in directories): cd ~/Minecraft/Tekkit. And to run it, I would then type sh launch.sh and let it run. For plugins, the only way I know how to do it is to use MCPC+ and then you should be able to use plugins. Sorry if this sounds confusing since this is the best that I can explain setting up a server on Linux.
  10. The only way that I know of to change the background panorama is to actually go in the minecraft.jar file itself and go to the title directory and change the pictures. For 1.6.x and above, the directory would be "/assets/minecraft/textures/gui/title/background/", and for older versions, the directory would be "/title/bg/" both without quotes. I personally don't know how to change the backgrounds since I just change the splashes around, so I can't really help you further than this.
  11. Are you trying to say that you want a custom background when someone launches Minecraft with the modpack? Or the actual splashes themselves?
  12. Free hosting? Do it yourself.
  13. You can always host your own server, in which there are tutorials on...but for server hosts, I really don't know since I host my own modpacks/servers.
  14. Sure. If you provide me a link to the mods I will add them for you and find compatibility problems if there are any.
  15. For RAM, it depends on how many mods you are going to run, but 1.5GB(1536MB) should be enough. You would just use forge to run a forge server with mods, but if you want bukkit with the forge server, then use MCPC+. For looking for a server, that's up to you and your friends...
  16. I can help with making your custom modpack into a server, but I can't help you with MultiCraft since I don't use that.
  17. It seems to me that there is a problem with Project Red, Factorization, Iron Chest, Pixelmon, Pokeradar, Immibis Core, IC2, Natura, and Forge Multipart since those are the mods that are the ones that say Unloaded but not Constructed. If you provide me a link or download to the modpack, I can have a much easier time finding the error.
  18. Looks like there was a problem downloading the needed library files for the server... Did you try restarting it? If not, then try again and if there is still a problem, then I'll look into it some more (I experience these errors as well sometimes when I set up a server, but I can resolve it).
  19. I think herbology should be added to this modpack(and maybe Hexxit). Just a suggestion... Link http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1764111-152forge-the-herbology-mod-ver-112-bugs-corrected-new-herbal-growth-new-ingredient-info-system/ The mod does indeed work, but just has one id conflict, which can be changed.
