  1. That is not an error message. I add your pack URL to my launcher and it starts right up. You must have something else going on.
  2. I am able to "start" your client pack. However, you have failed to address the item ID conflicts which I pointed out in an earlier post. You MUST fix these if you intend to use your pack on a server. You have IDFixMinus in your pack you are distributing. You should never do this. IDFixMinus is intended to aid you in resolving conflicts while building your pack. If you wish to keep the idfixminus.txt and mod jar around for a later time when/if you want to add mods to the pack that is fine but you shouldn't be including it in the pack you push out publicly. This is a recommendation when only doing SSP and a hard requirement when intending to do SMP on a server with your pack. I fixed the item ID conflicts and removed IDFixMinus from the pack. I then copied the configs over to the server instance I set up with your pack after removing the mods mentioned in one of my other posts in this thread. I was able to join that server with your pack with my changes.
  3. I know I was helping you with your client pack, and it makes sense to start another thread for turning this into a server (not sure if the thread should be in the Server Op Swap Shop forum). However, it would be helpful if you added links to your client modpack download URL and/or Technic pack page so that I don't have to go searching for it. Scratch that. I do so many support threads that I didn't remember if we were doing a client pack or a server build. Why would you start a second thread for this? Breaking the support up into two posts is confusing and unhelpful. I'll respond to this in your original thread.
  4. As far as adding mods go, all you can do is try adding them one at a time and testing as you go. Resolving any issues that come up and hopping back here if you need more assistance. Not all mods work well together if used in the same pack. The farther afield you go from the "cornerstone" mods and those that are well written/maintained the more likely you are to have interaction problems with other mods.
  5. Not sure what you are needing at this point. I am able to add your pack to my launcher and it starts up in SSP just fine.
  6. copy.com works well for me. Simply register for a free account and upload whatever files you need. Share them and you will get a public URL. Add "?download=1" to that url (without quotes) and you have a publicly accessible direct download.
  7. If you are adding them to an existing pack then sure, just copy them in. If making your own pack just make sure the shader pack files don't have MC color code characters in them.
  8. Assuming you are using MCPC+, get the latest version (new build as of today has a fix so it will get the correct libraries. Build 253) and try again. I don't know where the hangup is at this point. This was my process with your current (v5) pack: Add client pack and launch Copy mods and config (now with config files in it) to server folder Remove DamageIndicators from server mods Copy in MCPC+ b253 and launch Launch server Log into server with client.
  9. Without laying hands on your PC (obviously ridiculous) I don't know what more I can suggest. All your hardware/OS/software pieces of the puzzle seem well assembled. Something has to be up with your local system.
  10. Okay, nothing wrong with that log. Did you have a question/problem?
  11. The purple stuff is Taint from Thaumcraft. It will eat your world over time, but you can turn off Taint growth or turn it off altogether in the config if you want. So, the client crashes in SSP with that error? How much physical RAM does your PC have?
  12. What do you get if you open a command prompt and type "java -version"?
  13. Something must be misconfigured somewhere. You previously stated that your had an i7 but also that the clock frequency was 1600 MHz. This doesn't make sense as there should be no i7 CPUs with a max clock speed at that rate. Either you misquoted something or you need to figure out why you saw that. Minecraft, and especially Forge, are very CPU intensive compared to other components in your system. If your CPU is underclocked, or not automatically clocking up when required due to power settings or BIOS configuration, then things might not run as expected.
  14. If your OS is up to date, your video drivers are current, your Java is correct and you have 16G of memory then about the only thing left is that something is wrong/misconfigured with your PC.
  15. Uninstall all Java related entries in your Programs and Settings Download and install the latest 64bit Java 7 JRE Open "Settings" in the Launcher and set the memory allocation to 2G
  16. You can use ComputerCraft with RedNet cables from MFR (more elegant than Bundled Cable from Project Red) to turn Energy Cells from Thermal Expansion on and off.
  17. Check with your host on how to use the proper MCPC+ jar as your server process.
  18. Yes, I get that you are using a commercially hosted provider. I'm talking about the client. Are you using a FTP launcher of some sort to start the client you would use to connect to this server? Generally speaking (since all hosts are different in some way) you would want to set the server up as a "MCPC+ 1.6.4 Build 251" server (however you have to do that with their interface). Once that is done you would just have to FTP up the "mods", "config", and any mod specific folders and contents up to the server. (This assumes you have a "working" client pack for which you have removed the client-only mods)
  19. Oh, not at all. The "mac specific files" are just distracting and should have no impact on the operation of the pack (I don't think). The critical issue is that your required modpack folders are inside a subfolder in your pack zip file. The pack won't work if they are like that.
  20. Are you using an FTB launcher of some sort to start the client you would use to connect to this server?
  21. I would recommend that you just re-download the mods from the author's preferred distribution channels.
  22. Ohh, no. Technic is its own completely separate entity and has no connection to FTB in any way. If you are planning on making something that launches out of the FTB platform you will need to work through that with the FTB folks in their forums. Once you get a working client pack through the FTB platform (which I am quite unfamiliar with) I would be happy to assist you in setting up a server for that since the server stuff isn't tied to any specific platform. You will need your "mods" and "config" folder as well as any mod specific folders (like Chocolate or Flan if you use them).
  23. Wait, you are trying to convert a FTB modpack to a Technic modpack? (such confuse)
  24. Your copy.com link should actually be: https://copy.com/A1Ql1381Kmyf?download=1 Your required folders (bin, config, mods) are in a subfolder inside your pack archive. All of the "top level" folders should be at the top level of your ZIP archive. You probably should remove the MacOS specific files (.DS_Store and __MACOSX) You have extracted the mods which come in ZIP format into your mods folder. Don't do this. Leave them as .zip files in the mods folder. If you are going to run IC2 for 1.6.4 I highly recommend looking at this post. At a minimum you will want the IC2Fixes mod (and an updated IC2 mod):
  25. Hehe, don't assume that people know what you are talking about with names of things like "Agrarian Skies". Providing links to contextual information is quite helpful. (Yes, I could research and try some things, but help me out here).
