  1. If you have the latest BoP from there then you are fine. EnderIO 2.3.x is in the build server (linked directly from the Wiki): http://ci.tterrag.com/job/EnderIO/ (note that this requires EnderCore) Thaumic Tinkerer builds: http://jenkins.nekokittygames.com:8080/job/Thaumic Tinkerer/ Caused by: java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: PermGen space The above is directly from your log. Update to Java 8 64bit and ensure you are allocating at least 2G in the Launcher.
  2. Start a new thread in Platform Pagoda and provide the API URL or a link to your pack details page in that post.
  3. What mods are you getting from Curse/CurseForge that aren't working? Please provide links.
  4. The vast majority of mods can be found through either Curse or MinecraftForum (MCF). Some authors have their own websites, but most of those still use MCF or Curse for distribution. This page has info on "bad" locations: http://stopmodreposts.org/ This is a great resource for finding the "correct" location: https://bot.notenoughmods.com/
  5. You probably answered your own question Sometimes the platform gets behind.
  6. This is what happens when you start multiple threads for the same issue:
  7. What's your Solder API URL? What's one of your pack slugs?
  8. That shouldn't cause any issues, no.
  9. If your Launcher crashes with no mods in the pack (just Forge), then you have a Launcher issue and should be posting in Bug Reports for the Launcher.
  10. The pack adds and launches successfully for me. Not sure what to suggest other than removing mods individually (or as a set when a dependency is involved) until it works.
  11. Please provide the most recent crash report from the crash-reports folder.
  12. I'll try to be a bit more specific: The ZIP library used by the Launcher has issues with one of the filenames packaged with the Millenaire mod. Sometimes removing it from your pack and re-adding it fixes that issue. Try that. If it doesn't work we'll try something different.
  13. Increase your pack version number (again). Remove and re-add the pack to your Launcher. Launch the pack.
  14. This thread belongs in the Platform Pagoda forum. Hopefully a patient admin will move it. Always provide the API URL or a link to your pack details page. http://api.technicpack.net/modpack/moddedcraft-20 Make sure you increment the pack version number any time you change your modpack archive or download location. This is the only way the Launcher is notified that there is an update available. Many of your mods are from illegitimate sources. Any mod named in the format of "ModName-Mod-1.7.10.jar" is quite likely not from the mod author. In your case, any mod named "ModName-1.7.10.jar" is also from an illegitimate source, although this format is occasionally used none of the mod you have which are named this way are legitimate. Always download your mods directly from the authors. You probably want Immibis' Advanced Machines instead of AtomicStryker's (will also require immibis core). Address these issues and come back if you are still having troubles.
  15. We would need to see the crash report (in the crash-reports folder) for your friend who is having troubles in order to diagnose his issue. Copy.com links need to have "?download=1" (without quotes) appended to them, not "?dl=1". You have included too much content in your modpack archive. The /bin/ folder should only contain the modpack.jar file. You have the Titan content pack for Flan's mod, but not the required dependency content pack Mecha Parts Pack. (the game will crash without this). You are using incompatible mod and Forge versions. You should be using the latest recommended Forge version and update all your mods to match that. You have Flan's mod content packs in your /mods/ folder. Those belong in /Flan/. Address these issues and come back here (with a crash report in a pastebin service) if your friend is still having issues.
  16. Threads for custom modpack issues belong in the Platform Pagoda forum.
  17. Your download URL is incorrect. Dropbox links must have the "www" changed to "dl" and have the "?" at the end removed along with everything after it.
  18. You have altered your modpack archive but not incremented the pack version number. The Launcher is only notified of changes to a pack when the version number changes.
  19. Millenaire ships their mod with some oddly named files. Try removing and re-installing Millenaire from your pack. Make sure you increment your pack version number when you do.
  20. I'm not interested in that. I'm interested in the items I requested, namely the valid API URL or a link to your pack details page. I would not have asked for them if I didn't need them in order to help you.
  21. This thread belongs in the Platform Pagoda forum. Hope fully a patient forum admin will move it. That is not a valid API URL. Provide a valid API URL or a link to the pack details page.
  22. Forge for 1.7.10 >= #1207 does not require the Legacy Java Fixer and it should not be included. Many of your mods are from illegitimate sources. Any mod named in the format of "ModName-Mod-1.7.10.jar" is likely to be from an illegitimate source. Always get your mods directly from the mod authors. You should update to the latest Java 8 64bit. Do not allocate more than 2G of RAM in the Launcher if your machine only has 4G total. The following mods must be updated: (along with all the illegitimate sourced mods) CodeChickenCore Fossils and Archeology Revival NEI Address these issues and come back if you are still having troubles.
  23. You updated Mekanism, but did not update EnderIO to the latest 2.3.x beta. Why are you including the IC2 API? If you intended to include the actual IC2 mod, you need the latest version (your API is very old). I believe you wanted ComputerCraft, not ComputerCraftEdu (which doesn't seem to work in this pack). Legacy Java Fixer is not required and should be removed. Your Morph mod is not from the mod author's website. Download the correct version from iChun's website. The following mods are fatally out of date: (current version numbers in parenthesis) (* means required and missing completely) Damage Indicators (3.2.3) *Baubles (1.0.1.10 and belongs in /mods/1.7.10/) Big Reactors (0.4.3A) CodeChickenCore (1.0.7.46) *EnderCore (0.0.1.12_alpha) Extra Utilities (1.2.8) Forge Multipart (1.2.0.345 and belongs in /mods/1.7.10/) IguanaTweaks (2B) NEI (1.0.5.111) One must assemble a pack methodically (one or a few mods at a time), testing as you go, and pay very close attention to the mod authors' instructions so that the proper dependencies are included. I do pack debugging all the time and you had such a mismatched collection of mods it took me over an hour to isolate all the problems. Attention to detail is the key to success here.
  24. Think about it this way. If you wanted to get into mountain climbing and had no experience, you wouldn't strap on a set of crampons and head to Nepal. You would start with a simple introductory climb somewhere and work your way up. Same goes for pack building. If you don't have the skills and experience to build and debug a pack, you don't start by tossing in every mod you can possibly put your hands on. You start small, add in mods as you go, and work your way up to something interesting and playable. You gain experience during this process so that when something breaks on your bigger pack you have the know-how to address the issues. tldr; I'll help teach you to climb the mountain, but I won't be your guide up Everest for your first mountain climbing excursion.
  25. Add Lexmanos' Legacy Java Fixer to the /mods/ folder.
