  1. Railcraft is not in Tekkit because Covert Jaguar's desire to stroke his ego precludes allowing the 2 - 3 million Technic players to play with his mod. You don't need it, anyway, because of linking books (They can be made to work intra-dimensionally, check the wiki) dimensional doors, and in the 1.6 beta Tekkit, you can build quantum portals and TE3 teleporting pads. Or you could use your imagination. I'd make the tunnel wider and embed a spiral minecart track in glass walls, that could be cool.
  2. My second mission failed. :/ My rocket wasn't big enough and Jebidiah was killed.
  3. An incentive to build reusable spacecraft would be cool. Imagine having to remember to put parachutes on your solid boosters to be able to afford the resupply mission for the space station you're launching!

  5. No, that functionality was added in a later version of Minecraft.
  6. How can I know when to launch a rocket to rendezvous with something in orbit, for example a lander to the command ship, or a supply ship to a space station? Is there some trick?
  7. Nahh, ExtrabiomesXL or Higlands would be better. BoP has so many biomes it's kind of spammy, imo.

  9. Yaaay, I did it! The orbit is a little lopsided and a little higher than necessary, but for my 2nd orbit ever I'm pretty pleased.
  10. My school does 1 semester of C++ (Programming I) and then 1 semester of Java. (Programming II) I've taken both, it's a pretty basic overview. AP Programming is next, a full year of more java.
  11. Can't you restrict access with the CoFH core friends list functionality, or is that only available on tesseracts?

Those both look really cool, I'll try them out when I've used the vanilla game a bit more. I want to at least go to the mun before adding mods. My plan: Comms sattelite (Just for fun obviously) Manned flights (Apollo style- just a few orbits then re-entry) Space Station - preferably modular Supply and crew runs to the space station Unmanned mun landing & rover Manned mun flyby Manned mun landing ?
  14. What I really want is a fairing mod. I think that's a major shortcoming of KSP. Of course it doesn't matter until a realistic drag system is implimented, but stuff could look so much more realistic with it. I mean really, are rovers just stuck on the top of a rocket? haha, no, they have to be protected!
  15. Ok, then my problems were that I started my gravity turn to early and went for too low of an orbit.
  16. How do I launch a small communications satellite into a stable 50k m orbit? I've launched one rocket in my KSP career and the orbit was really odd, as in 40k m on one side and 60k m on the other. Is there an easier way than strapping on boosters and turning right? My failed probe was fun to de-orbit though.

  18. Tekkit is completely different. You know how you used Industrial Craft 2 to process your ores in Tekkit Classic? That mod isn't even in Tekkit.
  19. Don't wast your time. Galacticraft for 1.4 was so buggy Micdoodle8 couldn't even get a rocket to launch.

  24. Have you actually tried connecting yet? If you can't join, then you have a problem, but otherwise, you shouldn't pay attention to the console.
