  1. Yeah, they pretty much are having to rewrite the entire source-code of Minecraft to prepare for the API.
  2. Have you tried allocating more RAM?
  3. Bummer. I'd say that's the ban. At the very least its an infraction- it's gibberish that adds nothing to the discussion!
  4. BECAUSE IT'S MORE CONVENIENT! IF THATS HOW YOU FEEL THEN I GUESS YOU DON'T USE FTB'S OFFICIAL WIKI EITHER THEN!!!!!
  5. You, sir, are the type of person who will end up banned, I think. Signing up for the sake of churning up trouble. You are wrong on both counts: The only reason technic took forever to update from 1.2 to 1.4 was Redpower. The team will not make the same mistake again. PERMISSION! TECHNIC HAS PERMISSION! The modders like technic, (except for Covert Jaguar) and malicious code hurts everybody. Huh, we don't even use IC2 in official packs anymore. I am sure I will regret feeding the trolls, but it just made me so mad..... EDIT: Ninjad. =/
  6. Simple. http://www.whatismyip.com/
  7. Dude. That's your local IP. If you want people to be able to join you need to give them your external one.
  8. =O Genius! Yup. However, my intention was to keep just as many as I needed in the network to save a bit of power, and 2000 seemed like plenty. In practice 200 might be enough. EDIT: Ok, I think I've got it:
  9. Well, I have a few options: Live with it. Dump extras out of the grid. Dump extras in lava. Set up a second fake network specifically for the monitors. I'm not sure, but number one seems like it makes the most sense. One small question: Do minium stones work in crafting recipes?
  10. Nope, Not broken. Feature. To make metal parts you now need to pour them in a Smeltery. As for your travelling, I would suggest rails in the nether, like in vanilla. Thaumcraft is good (Used to be in the Technic SSP pack, and the FTBers swear by it) but is very different.
  11. Yeah, I think I'll have to live with it. I just thought it would be cool to have a wall of storage monitors in my factory with 2k of every type of metal. (Even shiny ingots! $_$) I suppose If I really wanted to, I could hook up a computer to level emitters and add ores one by one to see how many to.... meh, whatever, I'll deal with it.
  12. Does it work with ME Interfaces? I'm planning on using Induction Smelters with sand.
  13. I have an AE question for ya. Is it possible to keep a certain number of items crafted in a system? I'm coming up with ideas for a system, and to conserve energy I thought it would be cool to maintain a set number of ingots in my system instead of automatically smelting every ore. The closest thing to what I'm looking for that I know of is an export bus with a level emitter, but that setup would make precision impossible do to smelting not being instant. If I set an induction smelter up with an interface with a pattern in it, is there a way to configure a system to automatically craft something like 2000 - [ironIngotsInSystem] = [NumberToCraft] If this is possible it would be useful to keep small amounts of specialty items like a couple of stacks of glass in stock.
  14. Maybe your firewall is blocking the server's attempts to download the files it needs?
  15. Well, convince them to get you one. Ask for 30 euros or whatever for your birthday and ask a relative with a credit card to help you out. There are options.
  16. Hmm. Maybe. I don't have a Mic, so Skype would be useless to me, and I'd probably be kicked out for inactivity. You know, Civ5, Tekkit, etc.....
  17. That looks cool. Are these factions a thing on PVP servers? I think the RMMC should learn how to spell proffesional if they want to appear professional. Ha!
  18. Natura is fully configed in the latest Hexxit. All you have to do is copy the Natura section from the Hexxit config to Big Dig's.
  19. Reactor > HV Transformer > MFSU > MV Transformer > LV Transformer > Compressor Personally, I don't mind if people don't know things. As long as you ask maturely (Thank you SO much! Seriously, there are too many people without grammar around here) we are happy to help. That's what forums are for, after all.
  20. Excellent! A new Voltz! Personally, I'm more of a Tekkit kind of person, but I know this will make some very happy. I'm also very pleased so see a larger variety of mods in the pack. I think the 1.x.x was really lacking- too focused. Is the mods list final? I hope not, as there isn't any automated mining other than the MFR laser. I would suggest ComputerCraft- Turtles make mining so much easier, and of course they don't need any sort of power other than vanilla fuels. Besides, computers are just useful in general. Edit: Hypersonic Explosives work fine. MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!! >=D
  21. That is most definitely a great construct. Nice job! :)
  22. There are 3 ways to legitimately purchase Minecraft. Signing up on Minecraft.net, and the buying the game. Redeeming a gift code somebody bought for you from Minecraft.net Purchasing a Minecraft gift card from Wal-Mart. Do one of these 3 things and you will own Minecraft, just like the rest of us.
  23. They are ghost (mobs), specter is a synonym for ghost. The ore mod is CoFH core.
  24. Well, then you are out of luck. There is no solution.
