  1. Well, each block in Minecraft is assigned a block ID either by the code or a config file. If 2 blocks share the same ID Minecraft will crash. To fix it all you have to do is change them in the Configuration file for the mod that is conflicting. 1. Uninstall EnderStorage 2. Google NEI ID dump. 3. Do an ID dump to see what the alvailable slots are. 4. Change the ID numbers in the EnderStorage configuration files to any of the numbers that are not returned by the NEI dump. 5. Put the .jar or .zip (Whichever EnderStorage uses) back into the mods folder. 6. Play.
  2. There is no reason to have outdated Java, btw. You can update it.
  3. You are using the wrong Tekkit. You are playing Tekkit (which is the better and newer one) but what you are looking for is Tekkit Lite (Which is older and won't be updated.)
  4. Best part. Yes, I agree. That's why I stick to official packs or those I make myself.
  5. You intended to start a flame war? Not the smartest.....
  6. I like Windows. It's what I use. I like Mac. I don't use it much and its probably overpriced but its fine. I sense an impending flame war.
  7. I think Thermal Expansion 3.0 is going to have multiple tiers of energy cells, with the current one as the lowest.
  8. You probably haven't port forwarded properly.
  9. Those sound like cool ideas, and I'd definitely get to them if I had the chance. Unfortunately boredom usually sets in after 30 min - 6 hours on a world. I can imagine having all the fun in the world in a world where I have unlimited food, great gear, and automated mining machines. Very deep psychological stuff, this.
  10. Whoops. LOL, typo. See above. ^
  11. 1. Click on this button: 2. Select "Always use latest builds" 3. Click "Save" 4. Launch. 5. "Would you like to update this pack?" choose yes.
  12. I'm very bad at sticking to SSP worlds in any pack. I get bored and decide to start over. Does anybody have any tips on how to stay motivated?
  13. Is the save folder inside an extra folder or something? Is it still zipped?
  14. No you don't. You just have to keep playing your singleplayer worlds. Why on earth would there be any reason for both of you to play on 2 different maps on the same server?
  15. What I'm saying is there's no point to having one server with 2 people each on their own world. You may as well be playing single player. Yes, it's possible. Change your server to MCPC+ and install a multiworld plugin.
  16. Uh... why bother? You may as well be playing on different servers.
  17. Your java is very outdated. The latest is 1.7.0_25 I think. I don't think Passive mobs spawn- they are generated with the world and then left to be depopulated. At least not in 1.4, I think I heard they spawn very rarely in 1.5.
  18. If you have 32 bit java you can only allocate 1GB of RAM.
  19. Herobrine doesn't exist, you know that... right? RIGHT????
  20. Sorry. This is the first I've looked into it.
  21. That's cuz they've been spending all their time since then rewriting the entire source code behind the scenes. I expect this also explains the underwhelming updates.
  22. It is pretty funny sometimes. I enjoyed reading FlowerChild and LexManos' argument. I don't like it when it means I can't have my trains in Tekkit.
  23. No need to be rude. It's not a stupid question, it's a mature request for an experienced server admin.
  24. The bigger the hit to the usefullness of modpacks, the less modpack- related drama there will be. Unfortunately it wouldn't make a difference for things like mDiyo and Greg's argument.
  25. Tekkit classic is on Minecraft 1.2.5. (Shows up as 1.3 because of technical updatey stuffs) Tekkit is on Minecraft 1.5.2. Choose wisely based on the server you want.
