  1. Presumably that's for something like if you have RailCraft and would rather use the Steam Dynamos with RC's boilers than the various steam-based engines it provides. Now, there is one mod I can think of in Tekkit that generates steam. That being Atomic Science, through its fission and fusion reactors. The again, one would usually use AS's turbines with those.

    1.7.2?

    I think the counter broke.

    1.7.2?

Yep, release has been pushed back to November 13th 3345. Good job.
  4. Not likely, and also, http://wiki.technicpack.net/IC2RP2ReplacementGuide

    1.7.2?

Actually, it was Santa. He's not very good with this "technology" stuff, though, so it did get a bit delayed, but at least it got here. Toothfairy was supposed to get us an update for Hexxit a while ago, but I think she might have died in a Walker fortress. A shame.

    1.7.2?

Oh, I almost forgot to mention, every time someone asks for an update the release is pushed back another five minutes. Currently it's been pushed back to October 17th 2120. Maybe I should've mentioned that earlier, probably would've cleared up some confusion.

    1.7.2?

And what mods are you looking to add where the 1.5 versions just mysteriously vanished? Usually older versions are still available. The mods haven't necessarily been out that long, though. For example, Thermal Expansion just got it's first non-beta 1.6 release less than a month ago. And there's probably other things they have to work on too. You know. Maybe. Making Hexxit isn't the only thing the team does.

    1.7.2?

How is Hexxit being for 1.5.2 a problem? It's still a good modpack and fun to play, even if it isn't the latest Minecraft version. Really. What about the Tekkit 1.6 dev builds that have been worked on recently?
  9. What error message to you get when you right-click and press open? You should still be getting an "error" message, but it's a different one that gives you the option to actually run the program.

    1.7.2?

The codes I put up were just random numbers, they're not actually used for anything. There aren't any "codes" for Hexxit to my knowledge, unless he meant the configuration files or the actual source code for the mods or something like that.
  11. I think it was a bit more than that, but in any case, Redstone Flux already has a ton of cross-mod compatibility. There's a list of mods with native RF support on the Team CoFH wiki here.
  12. If I remember correctly, TE switched over to its own power system due to some changes in the way MJ worked.
  13. Thermal Expansion uses Redstone Flux instead of Minecraft Joules now. RF can be converted into MJ (conduits will do it automatically), but MJ can't be converted into RF with anything I'm aware of.

    1.7.2?

That is true, I can't. I'm not involved in the modpack making process, after all. As for accomplishing something, I was referring to your tangent on my special staff badge/name (or rather lack thereof).

    1.7.2?

I'm not sure what you think you're going to accomplish through this. Trying to make me feel inadequate or something because I don't have an unnecessary and distracting staff badge thing or name prefix/suffix? In any case, though, you've apparently given up on trying to get a Hexxit update out of us, so good for you, you discovered patience.

    1.7.2?

No, I knew what you meant. But I decided to go with sag anyways. For "humor". You know, "Ha ha hee hee hoo hoo"? That sort of thing. In any case, I'd rather keep my name as it is.
  17. That would be IndustrialCraft you're thinking of.
  18. Valkon

    1.7.2?

Quite frankly I don't think I'd want a "sag" name.
  19. Valkon

    1.7.2?

No problem. To be honest, the main reason Hexxit for 1.7.2 hadn't been released yet was because they were having problems with the luncher. It just kept eating the codes whenever they tried to input them. Hopefully they'll get that fixed sometime soon.

    1.7.2?

I don't know, you tell me. (Also the blue name should be some form of indication)
  21. The unverified program thing is something that was introduced with OS X Mountain Lion, the version before what he has (OS X Mavericks). It's supposed to be some form of security or whatnot, but often times it's just more annoying than anything. I just have it disabled on my Mac, but you can get around it by right-clicking and hitting open rather than double-clicking the file. When he does that, instead of a message stating that it can't run a program from an unverified developer, he'll get a message asking if he's sure he wants to run a program from an unverified developer. To which he would hit yes, and then the launcher should open fine (and it won't display the unverified developer messages for the launcher anymore).

    1.7.2?

Well, you got me. Here are the codes. 1043051950439520 9204580345023485 3045830458345043 You know what to do from here. Good luck.

    1.7.2?

The update comes when the update comes. Your options are to be patient or assemble your own version of Hexxit with 1.6 mods. And no, nobody is going to "send you the codes" or whatever.
  24. You don't need to do that. Just right click on the .jar and press open.
  25. If my eyes are not deceiving me, that is four fusion reactors.
