The title of this thread seems odd, I don't see what this has to do with 1.3. Unless... Are you trying to connect to a Tekkit server on Minecraft 1.3.1?

You can't really say that "Mod x is imbalanced because if I combine mod x and imbalanced mod y it's imbalanced."

Spoilers: The butler did it.

Tekkit is pretty much as close as you can get to Technic with SMP. What version are you playing on? The latest recommended build definitely has Thaumcraft 2. On a side note there is no such thing as Thaumcraft 2 SMP, if what you're suggesting is adding that to Tekkit.

I'm not sure if we'd want Dong Princess to have an account on here considering Dong Princess is FlowerChild.

The Action Run AppleScript Encounterd An Error

Upgrade your OS. -
Your chunks are probably unloading when you're not online. Try placing chunk loader blocks in the chunks your machines are in and see if that helps.

Click on the box. If you can type in it you can paste in it. If you can't type in it then you're doing it wrong. If you can type in it but you can't paste it you don't have any text on your clipboard.

Well, CloudA55, I'm afraid linking files like that just doesn't work.

Step 1: Go to pastebin.com Step 2: Copy the contents of the log into the "New Paste" window (give it a title if you want to but it shouldn't be necessary) Step 3: Hit submit and put the URL of the resulting webpage in a post on this website Seems rather straightforward to me.

Well if you don't know what it means maybe you should post it here (in a pastebin document) so people who might know what it means can look at it?

Alternative EMC generator (Milk to diamonds!)

Probably red wool jacketed wire. -
Even if you know all the programming languages, I don't think that means you can claim you are absolutely certain how all code in every program interacts with all other code in every other program.
-
All the applications you say? Even the countless ones that consist of a program some random person wrote for personal use and never released ever? Wow, you have to reprogram your entire computer to upgrade your OS? I thought you just put in an install disk, I didn't know it was so complicated. My game runs fine. I'm also not using AVG, but then again there's no AVG for Mac OS X so what do I know.

mf bat box wont charge from solar panels
Valkon replied to PieSappinMyCake's question in Tekkit Classic
On the MFE, the dot is the output. On the LV Transformer the single-dotted faces are the low voltage and the triple-dotted face is the medium voltage. Your MFE is probably sending out energy slowly because it sends out MV packets, so it has to wait for the solar panels to charge it up to at least 128 EU before it can transmit power. I'm going to assume you have about 5 solar panels, since any other than the three visible ones are obscured by your house. Each solar panel sends out 1 EU/tick. 20 ticks occur in a second, so it takes about 1.28 seconds for them to generate 128 EU, and that's without counting any EU loss over cables. -
It seems so. If you're interested, here's a list of changes from the same thread:

This is a forum, not a government. There are no forum-guaranteed rights. ... I don't even know what to say about this half.
-
Well maybe you should submit a bug report [in the correct section]?
-
Okay, let me rephrase that. Make a new world and spawn in stuff so you can experiment with the crop system yourself so that you understand it. You'll never understand it if you're not willing to try to learn.
-
I dunno maybe you should try it out yourself maybe?

Yes! Here is the simple process to getting that to happen! First, make sure the mod is compatible with Tekkit. Try installing it and see if it works. If it is compatible, write down the block IDS of any new blocks that may have been added - you'll need them for later. Then, check if the mod has multiplayer support. If it does, check if it has forge support. If both of those conditions are true, check if it's also got a bukkit port. If all three of these are met, it can be installed on the server. Now comes the fun part. Convince the owner of the server to install the mod on his server using the block IDs you found and then convince every single person who joins the server to also install that mod with the exact same block IDs and such. Have fun!
