That is correct. Macerators aren't in Tekkit because IC2 isn't in Tekkit.

How do I change what version of minecraft Im on?
Valkon replied to oRetroHD's topic in Big Dig Discussion
I don't know, ask them. I don't have control over, or pay much attention to, server listings outside these forums. -

Valkon replied to oRetroHD's topic in Big Dig Discussion
If the server is running 1.6.4 or 1.7.5, it's not a Big Dig server. -
Duncan did his Tekkit series using what is now known as Tekkit Classic.

The answer is... what Munaus said. This is a public forum. You do not get to dictate who can or can't post in threads you make. As far as I am aware, yes. It is. Having mod permissions, while encouraged, is not a requirement on the platform.

If you would like to make a complaint, please file it with the complaints department.

Technic SSP from 1.2.5 is already on the platform. Try searching for it. As for Voltz, there'a 1.6.4 development build available in the launcher.

No, no, no, clearly you misunderstand. He is asking for an updated mudpack, not modpack. The mudpack updates can be found out back and to the left, near the luncher fixes. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Might have been personal stuff. Might have been job type stuff. Might have just been bored with the whole thing. Might have been some other thing. The real question is, does it matter why he left? The answer is no. At this point, it doesn't matter why he left, only that he did. And that there are mods that do the same things as good as, if not better than, how Industrial Craft did them. Or does them. Depending on if you include experimental builds. The point is, time marches on, technology advances, and we've reached the point where your options are to stay stuck in the past or advance with the future.

Question about mod tree fallign mod.
Valkon replied to Fuunokami_oka's topic in Attack of the B-Team
The mod you're looking for is Treecapitator. The lumber axe itself isn't necessary, only that you use an axe. Not sure how many mods it supports out-of-the-box these days, so if you put it in a modpack with mods that add more trees and lumber-cutting tools you may need to configure it to work with them. -
The latest version of Voltz is for Minecraft 1.6.4. The latest recommended version of Voltz is for Minecraft 1.5.2.

what are the next mods in AOTBT going to be?
Valkon replied to stingray024's topic in Attack of the B-Team
No. EE2 hasn't even been updated past 1.2.5; the current version of Equivalent Exchange is EE3. Which isn't actually completed yet, but some basic transmutation does work. -

Also the part where Dark and Red Matter hasn't been in Equivalent Exchange since EE2 back in Minecraft 1.2.5 and Attack of the B-Team runs on Minecraft 1.6.4. -
You can't in the current Tekkit.

Compared to 2 years ago, Technic seems dead
Valkon replied to inittowinitall's topic in Off Topic Discussion
Oh, right, the PAINS matches. Not sure what happened to the threads, but from what I can tell there weren't that many major arguments that would have resulted in a PAINS match in the first place. Forgot those even happened, to be honest. -

Well that's not at all vague. -
It's sludge. From MineFactory Reloaded. For the future, the easiest way to identify a liquid is to pick it up in a bucket and look at the name of the filled bucket.

Thaumcraft used to be in the Technic pack back in the Minecraft 1.2.5 days, but it hasn't been in any of the packs since Thaumcraft 3 due to the more restricted modpack policy (i.e. permission for public packs was only given to a few select ones, and Tekkit wasn't one of them). Azanor has recently changed his terms to be more pack-friendly, though, so who knows. Maybe it'll be in one of the packs in the future. MetaWorlds has some incompatibilities with NEI and the PowerCrystals mods (i.e. MineFactory Reloaded and NetherOres), so that may be an issue. On another note, while the functionality of MetaWorlds/Archimedes' Ships and Redstone in Motion frame systems do overlap, in that you can make airships with the frames, Redstone in Motion is useful in its own right for things that neither Archimedes' Ships nor MetaWorlds could do quite as well; automated mobile bore-type quarries and large frame doors are two such uses that come to mind. It was removed because the mod's author, CovertJaguar, asked to have it removed.

There are superior alternatives. Nothing of value has been lost.

You can change your morph (including back to your normal form) at any time using the bracket keys. Also, don't sign your post.

The recipe for a Magma Crucible has changed. You need to replace the bucket with a Leadstone Energy Cell Frame.

Try pressing O while you have your inventory open.

I would expect and hope (and know) that fluiducts work with Thermal Expansion machines, considering they're from the same mod.

On the other hand, Artifice Basalt is more useful than Project Red Basalt. You can make so many more decorative blocks out of it. Like those pavers and antipavers. Simply beautiful. Not to mention the fact that since it forms a large chunk of (if not all of) the lower levels near bedrock, you have a much greater and more consistent supply of it.

If all else fails, you could always try deploying the tactical TNT.
