  1. Also be sure that the ore or other item placed in the pulverizer can actually be pulverized. It's been a while since I've played Tekkit, but from what I remember I believe there was at least one or two ore that could not be processed by a pulverizer (My memory suggests it is Galacticraft Aluminum that can't be pulverized like other ores).
  2. Some people are still stuck in the Classic days. Hell, I've seen people requesting downloads of packs from Minecraft 1.1 all the way back to versions from Minecraft Beta, when Technic first went public just over three and a half years ago. Living in the familiar of the past, missing out on the beauty of the now and ignoring the wonders of the future. Such is nostalgia. In any case, I'm still fairly certain that sprint key in Tekkit Lite would have been part of IC2, but I don't know. To be honest, I never really played that much of Lite myself; it felt more like some kind of odd transition ttype thing, trying to be an updated Classic but not quite. I just ended up sticking to Classic/Technic SSP and then playing Big Dig when that came out during the 1.4.x era.
  3. If you set your singleplayer world to be open on LAN, you should be able to set it to allow cheats while doing so. Not sure if that'll be permanent, though.
  4. Well, no, I mean the button binding. I'm pretty sure either the Quantum Boots or Quantum Legs (can't remember which) had a sprint function that would make you run insanely fast if you held down the key it was bound to. But normal sprinting just would've still been double-tap forward.
  5. If it was Tekkit Lite, it's likely the sprint function was part of the IC2 Quantum Armor.
  6. As another member of staff, I'd like to take a moment to congratulate you on making me unable to take you seriously in any way by making all of your posts involved in this "argument" (Look at me, I can use quotation marks too) feature big neon green text. Oh and also something about Torezu being right.
  7. Have you made sure that you put enough stone/flint/etc into the part builder? Advanced tool parts require more than 1 of their material to craft.
  8. The 1.2.5 Technic singleplayer pack isn't going to be put back into the launcher, but it's been recreated and put onto the Platform. Try searching "Technic SSP" in the launcher.
  9. Thank Curunir, not me. He wrote the guide, I just directed you to it.
  10. Yes. Curunir has written a that should explain the basics of the new Tekkit fairly well, along with some other more advanced guides (which can be found in links throughout the starter guide).
  11. The forums and the Platform use different accounts.
  12. Not officially, but there is a recreation of EE2 called Project E and Immibis remade the original IC2 as an IC2 plugin (or independent mod, not sure since I've never actually used it (have no reason to when I have things like Thermal Expansion and MFR)) named "IC2 Classic". I have seen two packs that have "recreated" Tekkit Classic in 1.7.10, but they both use the Gregesque IC2 Experimental rather than IC2 Classic.
  13. It'd probably be easier to address if you provided information that's actually useful instead of "It crashed!" or "It's broken!"
  14. This is some character or something like that I don't know Also something about drawing it without sketching anything beforehand I guess
  15. If you still want to test this, the latest available version of Dynamic Lights is updated to Minecraft 1.8. There are also versions available for 1.7.10, 1.7.2, 1.6.4, and 1.6.2. They can be found on AtomicStryker's website.
  16. We already have tech-type equivalents/alternatives to most of the things Tinker's Construct has to offer in Tekkit. If people really want to play Tekkit with Tinker's Construct, it's not hard to add the mod.
  17. I don't see why it would matter if it's a private pack. So no, you don't need permissions.
  18. Yeah, that's how I know there was no Tekkit at the time. I remember being introduced to Technic by that video, and I also remember TechnicMP being a thing for a while before Tekkit existed.
  19. I don't believe there was a Tekkit for Beta 1.7.3. If anything it was probably the pack known at the time as "TechnicMP". Will sufficient googling you might be able to find intact links to them.
  20. Modern IndustrialCraft is what happens when the doctors try to save the year-old cadaver by giving it to the mad scientist down the road. The mad scientist being in this case GregoriousT. Modern IndustrialCraft is plagued with obvious signs of his influence.
  21. Whether or not you'll be able to play multiplayer with the mods depends on whether or not said mod would need to be installed on the server. Basically, if it's something that would only affect you (MiniMap and other HUD mods come to mind) then you'd still be able to play on servers of the base pack, but if it adds new content such as items, blocks, recipes, etc (stuff like Thermal Expansion or Thaumcraft) then you wouldn't be able to play on the server unless it also installed the same version of the mod as you.
  22. The Duck is a relatively common waterfowl, known to plague users of the launcher who neglect to take the appropriate precautionary measures. Recently their numbers have declined thanks to additions to the launcher's code, but occasionally they still pop up. More information on them can be found here.
