  1. How are rail tanks buggy? we have many on our server and I would like to inform people of issues Thanks we have open-block tanks as well because they look cool but the flow animation, if there are many, can lag out a server, so we haven't been advertising them
  2. steel tanks from railcraft (separate mod required) a 7x7x8 tank can hold over 12.5 million milibuckets A millibucket is the smallest unit of liquid measurement in modded Minecraft. A millibucket equals 1/1000th of a bucket of liquid which is 12,500 buckets of liquid
  3. I have seen that error before, top line says the problem /openperipheral/scripts.txt that txt file is missing and it needs it to run, so you either have the scripts.txt in the wrong dir or it is missing all together
  4. I have had messages saying, such was created with a previous version of a plugin and that things might not go well. but I have yet to have any issues. is your world from pre 1.2.2(1.6.4)? we had to restart ours from scratch with the 1.6.4 as it would not not load at all
  5. In my experience that mean the server doesn't have enough ram, if you are running it on your local pc and playing that could be why. try allocating more ram to the server when you are loading it 2 - 4 GB should work, more if playing with lots of people. also load the 64 bit version of java, it can handle more ram better
  6. I read but have not fully tested that if you change cleanuptime=1200 to cleanuptime=0 in the ChickenChunks.cfg, it will get rid of those strips of missing chunks, and theoretically fix my chunk-loading issues but I have not fully tested it yet but I think it did fix the missing strips of chunks. It is apparently and issue between chickenchunks and mcpc+ and how they do chunk cleanup. so I don't know if this will work for anyone not using mcpc+ "use at own risk and backup your files"
  7. My space-station started out from this Floating Island City Built By Fluidic Ice http://www.fluidicice.com/1/post/2011/11/minecraft-space-station-very-epic.html I think it is just amazing. He has some other really cool buildings on his site too. is way more talented then I am
  8. if you look down to the bottom of the picture you will see 2 chunk loaders one from railcraft and one from chicken chunks and it doesn't help, there is an actual issue with chunk loading in mcpc+ from what I understand. this station started as a schematic but I modded it greatly. I will see if I can find the original link
  9. this is my first reactor on the 1.6.4 version, my only issue currently is with chunkloading, if I leave the reactor it powers down (a single plasma block gets stuck) but as far as I know that issue is not with atomic science
  10. The redstone energy conduit has the ability to convert the power from rf to mj, on my server we just put one link of the cable between the energy cell and what ever we are to power (like a quarry that uses mj) and have no issues. AS for use Thermal Expansion is only buggy if RESONANT INDUCTION is installed, it does break thermal expansion.
  11. I have had on my server in past a bukkit plugin called wireless redstone http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/wireless-redstone/
  12. We added Infernal Mobs and changed the difficulty level to 3. That makes you scared to go outside even with endgame gear
  13. How is atomic Science broken? I am using it (In a limited fashion mind you) and the only issue I am currently having is the plasma getting stuck. Now from what I have read that has to do with chunkloader issues not keeping chunks loaded, when users are away. I just go afk next to my reactor and have no issues
  14. I learnt the hard way, if you do that with the 1.6.4 version you will break minecraft. Like I said I just added the 1.6.4 version it to the mod directory with the rest of the tekkit jars and it worked. no need to do any fancy jar modding
  15. plowmanplow: how do you restrict what dynmap shows? I looked into that before but couldn't see how and searching google reveled nothing. My google fu was having an off day I guess. Tr1n1ty: one option for you is the new redstone cable (even just one link) it converts between the energy types without issue (at least in the limited functionality I have used it in) Famout: I tried for giggles tossed the optifine.jar in with the rest of the tekkit mods and it autoloaded for me, you might just try that
  16. We have removed dimensional doors from our server too, the lag on a server between those and mystcraft ages was insane and something had to give. besides it also makes a complete mess out of dynmap.
  17. I am finding that Fluid Ducts are causing the server to hard crash if you try to attach a fluidduct to the top of an Atomic Science Steam Funnel, attaching to the side is fine (not that you would want to but I was testing) also if you put the fluidduct down first and put the funnel under it, it will work as well, it is funny how with the funnel just on the ground the fluidpipe will register steam in it
  18. for some reason all my posts are being duplicated and I not sure how to delete the extra one
  19. I have only seen meteors on the ground I didn't know they actually fell there, You would think they would allow you to blast proof your house by what ever means necessary. That I think is a valid argument for allowing it
  20. What seals, and what doesn't Buildings with more advanced design shapes or features can sometimes be difficult to seal. Nearly all see-through blocks except for Glass Blocks, Glass Panes, or Tinted Glass Panes are not sealable. Even some types of glass or transparent blocks from other mods do not seal. These can however be edited in the core/ config file. Even when using panes that are generally sealable, it may still be difficult to seal the building as certain configurations of them will not work. One example is having two diagonal panes on a corner. (Fig 1 & 2). A simple one diagonal corner will work. You also cannot have sun roofs using Glass Panes (Glass Blocks will work), as this will not seal either. (The most reliable way to make a sealed room is to use non-transparent blocks. I must have misread this originally but this is direct from the http://wiki.micdoodle8.com/wiki/Oxygen_Sealer I try and stay away from editing conf files for anything but conflicting ID. For me that is a form of cheating, might as well just be in creative mode then
  21. I just ended up using mcedit and nudging it over so now I appear in a more friendly spot. The blue block is item ID 610:0 if anyone wants to know
  22. They only seal-able glass I know of is the galacticraft tinted panes
  23. you must remember that an ax will chop down the whole tree by taking out one block, vs only taking out one block with fist anything else for that matter, so an ax has more to break though as it is chopping
  24. that sounds interesting, how do you prevent other people from accessing the ender channels? my understanding is if they have the same colors as you they have access to everything you have sitting there, till now I have kept mine empty just incase someone lucked out on the channel, and only request when necessary
  25. you need sub-networks to do that in AE? that is why I like logistics, one big happy system that shares everything. question if you have a sub network for say lead Redstone energy cells do you have to create a new network for the different levels of Redstone batteries? can they share the same autocrafting sources?
