oh question, can linking books be used in the mystcraft portals like books can? (I would just try but not at home to try)

I have been fighting with this again too, it means a bad/corrupted config file, just replace the ones on the machine giving the errors (even just delete them and they should auto recreate) and try again

had to take dimensional doors out of the server, between that and mystcraft ages it server was starting to hard core derp with all the dimensions as for the linking books, thanks I am going to have to try that

I am pretty sure you can make tendrils out of any ore type block that you have the page for, I have seen wood ones and I myself have created glowstone one and nether quartz ones, a pain to quarry but I am trying to figure out other methods. All you need to do is place the ore type you want right before a tendril page and you will get them.

yea I tried that a couple of times, not only is it a pain to place large quarries but it makes a mess of the nether. I prefer mystages cause you can quarry them up and toss the book and you are not making a mess around other peoples creations. Nothing uglier than a beautiful creation with a gaping hole to bedrock next to it (kinda like my last gf)

I am too far into the game to do it by hand, my mffs goes though multiple stacks of nether quartz a day, I don't want to be spending all my time in the nether, I am only interested in automation now I would love to figure out if there is a way I can have a nice flat mystcraft age where I can replace all dirt with nether quartz ore and just quarry the crap out of it. would be an unstable age as all hell but if I could plant 2 63x63 quarries I would be fine,

hmm wonder if I can use this for nether quartz, emeralds I have chests full that I never use, quarries get them all the time, mass amounts of nether quartz is hard to get

my server has essentials so everyone just types /home, /spawn, /back etc, linking books thought to be the same as /home never took off

linking book? I know that gets you home but how do you use it to get from home to anywhere else?

diamond armor is for NOOBS, once you go full power suit you will never go back, buhahahhahahahah

wafflebot question?, how could someone get that far into the game having the full powersuit and not have some sort of replenishable power source? the power suit is getting a bit of a nerf next update it sounds like, all internal charging the suit has now is going away including that solar generator.....sad I know

turtles are super glitchy (at least for me) my server complains every time I try and put one down I use the minefactory planter/harvester/fertilizer as seen in this video Here is an image of how I use it

Trees are funny in space, took me a little to figure out why. you cannot allow the saplings to touch the vacuum of space (automated planted saplings are ok) otherwise their id changes and you can tell because it says it needs 4 blocks of water to grow, so as long as your not holding it in your hand when you first put it into your system your fine, then just automate them like you would on the surface.

unfortunatly you are, the next version of galacticcraft has solar panels or you need to add a mod called Mekanism

no need just copy this into your .bat file that starts the tekkit server and run it

I would love to know the answer to this as well, to expand on this I am currently working on two different servers, Local windows one with intel core and and a remote linux amd 64. I am using the exact same server files on both servers and the windows one has no issues, the remote linux one gives those errors. what the hell?
