best to recover from backup, less painful too

a lot of things broke for my server, we are restarting fresh, depending how far along you are it may not work

I notice when my server crashes it says unable to find startup.sh stopping server. how can I change this to look for a batch file instead Thanks

can anyone tell me where I can even ask about this? Thanks

I am running 1.6.4 and I have the full modular power suit, and now that the modular power suit addon is working it is functioning like it was in 1.1.0 plus a few more goodies

The reactor burns up in the releasing of the plasma, all that is left of it is a random number of deuterium cells, I have replaced it numerous times, I guess it has to do with the new version of atomic science I am not sure though. Is it possible it the chunkloader is having issues. it seems fine when I am there but I cant hang there forever. It is always when I am coming back to check on it that I hear it slowing down

ok that didn't work, the plasma seems to keep getting stuck, I have to break a the glass on the underside, let out all the plasma (burning everything in its mist) then the reactor will fire up again, until the plasma get stuck again

Think I got it this time, I replaced all the fluid-ducts and removed all the dual-layered funnels, first time I have seen all the turbines spin up

yea I am testing it still, thought the funnels where, I am clearly doing something wrong, the fluid ducts wouldn't work without the red stone signal but then only ran for awhile an stopped, I removed the redstone block and it started again for awhile then stopped, so i switch it to pump mode and it ran for awhile then stopped. I added pnemonic servos to all the pipes it ran for awhile then stopped, going to try single layer steam funnels for some reason I thought Allow Layered Turbines"=true would allow stacked funnels too but I am guessing no

we found that out the hard way too, we have just switch to windows hosting now to prevent such silliness. all is well now

yea it took that edit of the atomic science file to get my turbines to spin too but I have it running now

I use a remote requester pipe plugged into an ender chest, and then have an ender bag and a remote request card with me, I have my whole system available to me where ever I go and only takes 2 slots in inventory

yea I use tesseracts to get items from overworld/mystages to my station and I use golden transport pipes to connect everything so I never have to wait long

there are 5 fusion reactors and 225 large turbines

is 10 secs long? hmm never really noticed, some items can take a little longer when there are multiple stages to be built but I just plan what I am doing accordingly, I am ok with waiting a few sec in exchange for not having to need storage for all items needed just to save myself a few seconds. that is all personal preference though. as for the ring that is 2 particle accelerators making antimatter they comes from atomic science

all skins or just the one?

did you make the skin or is it from one of the skinning sites? have you tried a second skin to see if maybe the skin your using is corrupted or not within the req dimentions for a skin

Does anyone know how to move the spawn point in Glactictcraft space-station, I have put my space-station from Tekkit 1.1.0 into the new space-station dimension and it shifted everything, I don't mind that it has shifted but when I take a rocket up to it I appear partially in a wall. How can I change this? Searching online and the micdoodle8 site has given me no useful info Thanks

I just got the new 1.2.0 Tekkit Server online with a bunch of our own modifications and with bukkit ~150 MODS now I will be attempting to build big reactors shortly, I will let you know how it goes

go to the tekkit servers thread, http://forums.technicpack.net/forums/tekkit-servers.87/ quite a few server open, you just need to find one that matches what you are looking for

I did know of this cool dark emo type server.....but they keep cutting the connection to it

what about making an entire world out of nether quartz? only needs to last long enough to run a couple of quarries
