Could always request IDED to make one since he does a lot of videos, tho hes been focusing on singular mod based videos and not inter-mod videos or tech based ones with AotB (which is more of what I do, but im busy atm getting a party ready for my sister this saturday, so if i can find some time to do some tutorial based videos, ill be sure to do one for this)

Conveyor belts do count as a full block for the purposes of spawning mobs. Keep in mind also that the spawner only goes up one block and down one block, meaning if the spawner is level with the floor and the belts above it, it wont find a valid spawning location since it sees those belts as full blocks.

ProjectRed-Transportation_Pipe Connect Issue_1.0.10b
Kalbintion replied to jonahly's topic in Attack of the B-Team
The way those pipes work btw is that itll send the item randomly down a connection that isn't where the item just came from, so a T section has a 50% chance to go one of the two ways. This can be an issue with items taking forever to go into storage or come to you as it then has to rely on rng to pick the right route and as soon as it hits a non-item pipe it'll see if it needs to go that way still or be accepted and be routed back if necessary, hitting that same intersection and potentially going back the way it came since it now came in at a different line, or finally end up down the right path, etc. -
Perhaps we should look into this a bit more deeply then? I still feel like BoP can correct this on their side.
-
Oh, wow, missed that completely in the op...yeah 2GB is a bit low, 3GB should be fine, i wouldnt say anymore than 5GB though if you do end up with out of memory errors.
-
Another option to that would be BoP adds a catch that if something goes wrong with generating a structure it just simply skips it completely and doesnt generate it, it would prevent this issue from showing up even if it does remove some buildings sometimes. And imo, wouldnt be too hard to implement.

Is this setup correct? (Energy Cell, Conduits)
Kalbintion replied to DanielUSA's topic in Attack of the B-Team
Somewhat yes, but why run the wire to each home when each home can have a tesseract... -
Amethyst armor is a great way to just massively reduce damage, but some are partial to exo-armor. As for a weapon? Tinkers' construct weapons are the way to go (rapier especially as it penetrates armor)

it can spawn any mob that can be captured via a safari net, however they need valid spawning locations. Squid need water, enderman/wither skeletons need 3 blocks high. Sheep etc need 2 blocks of space. Also, ensure the spawner isnt receiving a redstone signal as this will stop it from running. And if you look at the UI of the spawner and see the idle time not ticking down, redstone is probably the culprit, or if its bouncing from 0 to 15, it means it cannot find a legal space to spawn it in.

Is this setup correct? (Energy Cell, Conduits)
Kalbintion replied to DanielUSA's topic in Attack of the B-Team
No, because that isn't how it works. The power is equalized throughout the network, and will only discharge if it has a place to go to. Meaning while this would effectively create an infinite loop, you do not gain any power at all from this method, but rather the tesseracts would be changing power from one place to another infinitely up until both networks on either side of the tesseracts are equalized or no longer need power. -
Depending on your system, it can take up to 15 minutes to load the resource pack, as it does have to literally reload all of the textures in minecraft.

Is this setup correct? (Energy Cell, Conduits)
Kalbintion replied to DanielUSA's topic in Attack of the B-Team
Ran the test with the tesseract, it will send 10k RF/t per connection, and the receiving needs the connections, so @ 50k RF/t through one tesseract needs 5 connections on both the input and output tesseracts. Edit: Oh and one more note about the conduits, since they have a network saturation value, this max saturation value increases with the more conduits available, which can appear to give false results when running tests as they can provide a temporary boost in power output as the network readjusts to added conduits. Edit 2: After additional fiddling around with it, the input tesseract only needs the additional connections, the output tesseract does not seem to be limited on the power being output through a single connection point. Meaning one connection to the tesseract seems to output up to 2 billion RF/t (a technical limitation) if the input is available Edit 3: I have a companion video being rendered that demonstrates the tesseract. Edit 4: Here's the video, its still uploading but will be available in about 2.5 hrs from the time of this edit. -

Attack of the B-Team World save won't appear.
Kalbintion replied to Body-Bagz's topic in Attack of the B-Team
There's also instructions to fixing this on the "Most common issues and fixes" thread found @ '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>> Under the issue "Issue: Saves worlds disappearing." Please note that even if it does work using this method, the chunk edges will be misaligned, due to the game no longer using the same seed as the old world. -

Minons spawn a trillion skull heads and freeze game
Kalbintion replied to wins247's topic in Attack of the B-Team
This odd entity duplication issue happens in all versions of this modpack, its a very rare bug that happens with the minions mod. It is normally safe to use, but there appears to be some specific instances where them dropping their items on the ground causes a massive and rapid infinite drop until the area is unloaded. -
Is this setup correct? (Energy Cell, Conduits)
Kalbintion replied to DanielUSA's topic in Attack of the B-Team
This would work for tesseracts aswell, however Tesseracts, according to wiki sources etc, can only transmit 10k RF/t, so i'm not sure this particular setup would work as intended as the tesseracts may be limited in a different way than the conduits running from them. In particular though, under the assumption of tesseracts not being limited in transmit rates but rather at the power in/out rates, then your proposed 60k RF/t going in would still be limited to 10k RF/t since you only have one connection on the output. If you were to add the other 5 connections, for the total of 6, it would transmit all 60k RF/t assuming the tesseracts indicate the power has somewhere to go, as tesseracts won't transmit without knowing it has a place to go (this was done to prevent some lag and backups and other issues that could arise from tessearcts) -
Tried finding that report Loader, it appears it was deleted or something, ended up @ page 51 on the tracker list looking for it before i finally gave up lol. And here's another report that demonstrates the whole "lack of willing to do anything"... http://forums.technicpack.net/tracker/issue-2660-crash-while-loading-server/

I wish Loader's reasoning on being blunt wasn't true, but it really is. I've unfortunately had to either ignore people or give up on helping them simply because they couldn't follow instructions. If they had a question about the instructions, so be it, I have no problem resolving questions about instructions as I'm here to help of my own free will, but theres been too many people here that just want it fixed magically with no effort on their part and that is unfortunately not how it works. Also btw, avoid double posting, use the edit button. You can copy/paste the quote and itll paste correctly so you can multi-quote via the fast reply box (hit quote on first post, CTRL+A to select all, CTRL+X to cut, then hit quote on the second post, and then CTRL+V, youll get both quotes in the one response)

Yes you need 64-bit java for it. Also for installing mods, they go into the mods folder for the modpack. Clicking the cog icon under the modpack logo on the launcher should give you a button that says "Open Folder" or what have ya, the mods folder is there. As for the java, when you install 64bit, uninstall all previous versions before hand and reboot to ensure the installation goes smoothly, also run it in administrative mode so it can do some things it needs (otherwise youll probably end up with a "cannot create java virtual machine" error or a "java is not a recongizable command...etc"

Can I Use Attack of The B-Team with my PC ?
Kalbintion replied to Pik-a-Tchoum's topic in Attack of the B-Team
If you're going to go without the necromancy mod, then even most low-end cards should still run the pack1, albeit at a lower FPS (10-20, depending on video) and wouldnt be suitable for lower end video cards to use resource packs or high render distances, but again, with no video specifications I wouldn't be able to give you a completely solid suggestion on how the computer will handle this pack. 1 Assuming your video card has OpenGL support at all, if it lacked OpenGL support completely, I'd yell at whoever sold it to you and demand a refund. -
Sure isn't me considering mine was posted 4 minutes before yours and not at the same time or a minute apart but we digress from the topic.
