Yes if an area is t protected with a plugin than anyone can place an item such as a quarry or block breaker and use that to dig things up. You should get grief prevention plugin or world guard or something to protect an area

Essentials Plugin | Items.csv updated
RyanTheAllmighty replied to Jasonsj10's topic in Tekkit Classic Discussion
Awesome work I was doing this for the Essentials Economy Sell Signs so I was limiting the itemname to length of like 9 to fit on a sign But I had no idea that this is used for /i commands, so this is a big help, thanks man EDIT: Also on line 3423 there is an error with bt-battery, you cant have dashes, removing the dash fixes it re-battery,30239, change to rebattery,30239, -
Yes it works fine, I have it installed right now For simplicities sake get WinRar then once installed right click your [2]EE2ServerV1.38-bukkit-cb1938.zip and click Open With->WinRar Than got to the "ee" folder and drag the files from the zip file you downloaded from that thread and drag them into that "net" folder you have open in your WinRar. Then once done close it and its patched if youve done it correctly

Okay thats good to know Your fixing a massive hole with this patch, thanks so much again Now to make it complete I only wish there was a way to stop the use of the rings to make fire/water in protected areas as well as philosphers stone transmute ability and other small things like the Mercurial Eye. But I think the main problems are the RM and DM tools :)

I use 1.18 which runs perfectly. You need plugins that are compatable with 1.1R4 or lower in order to work, ones which are compatable with higher version numbers sometimes wont work as bukkit changed alot fo things in one of their later releases

Buying a dedicated Tekkit server
RyanTheAllmighty replied to LittleMikey's topic in Tekkit Classic Discussion
Dont go with TreePuncher. I did for their Australian servers. Their server are incorrectly configured and when I had my server on there it was crashing CONSTANTLY every 2 or so hours involving me to get on and manually restart it which would also not save the server as their online control panel is BAD and the stop/restart commands have no safe shut down and just kill the process which means everyone loses their items and it rollsback to the last time it saved which can be a long time If you have a choice, dont go with TreePuncher, the also charged me and refused to refund me because for half the month I had already paid for when i wated to cancel because their servers just constantly crash. -
I just installed it then with no problems Did u make sure that you downloaded the version for 1.1? If your sure then you just drag the WorldEditCUI folder into your mods folder on your client I did that and it worked fine for me Also make sure you drag the WorldEditCUI folder in not the WorldEditCUI-build one. The WorldEditCUI folder should be in the WorldEditCUI-build directory

New Update - Where's Computer Craft?
RyanTheAllmighty replied to Ange1ofD4rkness's topic in Tekkit Classic Discussion
Hopefully they wont put computer craft in as RedPower now has computers and means it does it all in 1 mod -
Also Grief Prevention Plugin is good, but you need to make sure you have installed the following patches in order to make it as secure as possible http://forums.technicpack.net/index.php/topic,4645.0.html http://forums.technicpack.net/index.php/topic,8460.0.html http://forums.technicpack.net/index.php/topic,5663.0.html

Hi I am having the same issue but I have no spout plugins or anything. I hadnt installed any new plugins or anything it just randomly appeared one day. I restart the server and it fixes it only for a short amount of time then whenever people place an IC2 machine it kicks them and gives an Internal Server Error Log File: http://pastebin.com/tsb0Q9ry

All i did was rename the file to ComputerCraft on the server side and that fixed it for all my players
