I hope they work some magic on those textures, that house building looked like something you puked on. character details looked great, dinosaurs are always intriguing for me and they have a cyan coloured werewolf. hopefully it'll get some good singleplayer experience and not just multiplayer-focused.

well, this was unexpected. This is.... Ark: Survival Evolved... in pixels. If you don't remember this game, it's basically you running naked, pooping around and hunting dinosaurs in an exotic island. And you can build lasers. Now there's a pixelated version of this game called PixARK, so ARK mixed with minecraft. http://store.steampowered.com/app/593600/PixARK/ thing I don't like is that it's another studio, Snail Games USA, who is also working on another EA (early access) project on steam. Edit. a warning should be labeled on Snail Games studio. Their other game, Dark and Light, is complained by other players for numerous bugs and zero response for bug fixing from its developer. Might be an abandoned cash-grab. Keep this in mind if you consider buying PixArk.

Mojang removed their support for older versions. This includes sounds and skins. https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/WEB-985 it has been reported, but they don't care. They expect everyone to play their up-to-date vanilla versions. edit. if you put 7gb of RAM on the launcher, then that is your issue. Java is crap in handling large amounts of memory and will crash. 2-4 gb of RAM is enough for Blightfall what java version do you have installed? Java 9 is incompatible with Forge, so make sure you have java 8u161

In order to get your logs, please go into the Launcher Options (upper-right corner), then on the bottom-left corner of that screen, click "Open Logs". The logs are all called techniclauncher_YYYY-MM-DD.log, with YYYY being the Year, MM being the Month, and DD being the day. We need the Logs from when you were/are having your issues. now go to the internet and google pastebin, click the first link that shows and copy - > paste the whole text wall from one log onto pastebin, now click the button underneath to "Create Paste" so it sticks and then copy the link and post it here. If these are your very own made packs then post the link to the pack so someone can see how you set it up wrong.

been playing a week now and I truly enjoy what I've found. A hardcore pack, but not extremely punishing when you die. a spawn hub, free from hostile mobs, where you can comfortably get to learn the controls and mods inside while talking to different CustomNPC traders' and skill trainers. Here you can buy (when you have the coins) most of the resources, spawn mobs items and whatnot to make survival in the real overworld eazy peazy. there is even secrets and quests in this village, for the player to seek and explore. and when you feel ready, you can talk to the gate guard who will teleport you to a few choices of worlds where hostility will finally greet the player. the only thing that annoys me is the Lycanites mobs. I have to have a lava source inside my tiny base to avoid freezing at night, so at certain intervals a fire bat will spawn in that one block of lava source and spit fire on me. there is also the odd lag spike, after a time of playing I suddenly can't put items inside/out from chests without the game jerking slowly. This lag spike will also follow me to the spawn hub, that using the furnaces or crushers there is frustratingly slow when the game doesn't register where I'm putting the ores/ingots. this pack is also heavy. Painstakingly slow to download for new users and wont run at all for crappy toasters. The latter makes me sad, because I'm moving away due to work and can't take my PC with me, only my crappy toaster. Overall, I do recommend this pack for anyone who wants a "beefy" Hexxit in 1.7.10 MC. 4/5 - amazing work. my modpacks feel like lazy effort compared to this

I wouldn't bother with Optifine in Hexxit. it will only give you more issues than aid gameplay. Especially Tinkers Construct smeltery doesn't run well with optifine, as optifine tries to force render everything. This can sometimes make lava not be visible in the tanks. Stick with Fastcraft if all you want is smoother FPS
