This is a common problem with all Macs and LWGJL (java). Switching to fullscreen is the only temporary solution

Find out what Operating system you have. Google if you must. Or ask a friend, sibling or parents. Do you have an antivirus installed? This sounds like a antivirus blocking your launcher

You could read the forums rules for starters. Then look over the section that says "Bug Reports" and submit a bug report for hexxit Bug Board

You still do it the old way? How retro... I like to cut the mods open, find the magic seed in each of them, plant the seed, water and wait for it to bloom into a modpack! It's all about giving some love and growth! But sure, like dwwojcik said, you can do it the old way.

Try updating LWJGL, I heard that might help.

If you have problems joining a server, you should contact the server owner. If you can't play singleplayer then that is a modpack bug, please submit a bug report here.

Take a look at the last person posting here. "July 23, 2013" The people who posted here are no longer here. And the only solution known now is to switch to fullscreen, which has already been stated in this thread.

You have Norton. Uninstall it.

Darkfire, you are using Norton. Did you read the sticky -the thread up top on Technic Launcher bug section - that said Common Problems? Norton is a bad guy, it screws up the launcher without telling you. Uninstall that crap and get some free antivirus that is much friendlier. Technic has recommended Avast, something I use myself.

This is a problem with Mac and LWJGL, java in simple term. switching to fullscreen is said to temporarily fix the problem. Someone somewhere mentioned you need to update LWJGL for every modpack you play. Don't ask me how, I don't know.

The "Bad Login" is Mojangs fault. Something on their servers end screwing up for many users. My advice is to go play something else and give it a day or two, if it still gives you a "bad login" then try change your password on mojang's site.

Pirates stink. Everyone knows that. Try tossing them a soap or two. And a brush. A soft one... As for config: I dont think that mod (better dungeons, correct?) has a config for mob-AI attack behavior. The only solution would be a) ignore them and their ships or burn them from afar... I would still give them the benefit of the doubt and give those poor stinking sods some soap.

Well I'm not surprised if you tried connecting with your Tekkit Lite to a Tekkit Classic and that made you crash. Or if you did try Tekkit Lite to a Tekkit Lite server but just forgot that you posted this on the Tekkit Classic section, a simple mistake to do. Anywho... This isn't the correct place, you should first try singleplayer, if that crashes too then it is a modpack bug. Post in either Lite or Classic, whichever it is you are using... Please note that many others are having multiplayer problems, so the main problem might lie with Mojang's servers.

It's strange, 'cuz, when I look at Mojang support they report that everything is running fine...? We have people posting in on Tekkit, Classic and Voltz so far, so it does sound like Mojang derping around.

Please use the edit button, it's there for a reason. Try logging in on the vanilla launcher - No, not through Technic launcher, the vanilla launcher. The one that Mojang gives you. If you can't log in through that, then it is Mojang's servers which are down.

The forum was down for a few hours, it might be that technicpack.net had some maintenance issues. Take a few hours and try again later. If you can't get in on a server... then its usually Mojang's servers which are down. Atleast you can play single, no?

This is not Platform Pagoda-related. Try Technic Launcher Bug section. Try using the launcher on a later time, it might be that the technicpack.net is down for maintenance. Also, why are you posting 2 threads? You already received help on the first.

Linky Here ya go! I should add that I did the noobie mistake, instead of posting the log in the first place I tried running the modpack a second time with the same result as before. So the log might be a bit longer than usual... No no no! You did nothing wrong, I was being dumb and didn't realize you put up a direct link to paste to the launcher. Please put the modpack link back!

That link doesn't lead me to a download nor to the platform site. Check it again. Never mind... I derped Also, this isn't MCforums. Permissions for playing mods is something made up by children and has no legal standing. Edit. interesting.. the modpack downloaded everything and I managed to get to Mojang screen. Then it went back to the launcher window... without giving any warning or crash notification. I found the log, but Great Scott! that log is just a huge shitpile of text! I'm afraid I'm unable to help, I'm clueless...

Because she's the law You might want to thread lightly, read the Forum's rules and think what you're doing. For being the "bestestservers" you aren't the "bestestreaders". I wouldn't want to buy anything from a person who neglects to follow local forum rules, or who swears at a moderator, which shows you are juvenile.
