This issue has been answered in the Common Problems sticky at Platform Pagoda Q. My Launcher starts up but there are no packs! A. Your Launcher might not be able to connect to the net. Before you open it, try right clicking, and on the drop down menu select "run as admin". This is reported to have bypassed this issue. (Windows only) Next time, follow the advice given. Please make a proper bug report in the Technic Launcher Bug Section. Take the time to read a few of the stickied threads, the threads which are always stuck on top of every section, as they provide valuable information which may solve your problem.

How about backing this up with some evidence. Everyone else points at java, so what makes Forge the guilty one here?

Dead craft is not created by Technic team, please don't ask support for custom made modpacks as there are thousands of them. Contact the staff of the server or the modpack creator.

Delete whatever Technic folder/file you have on desktop or anywhere else and re-download the launcher from Technicpack.net

This is not Platform related. The problem is neither Technic, it's your mac and LWGJL. Or more specifically, your java. The only solution I know is to switch to fullscreen. You can always try searching the words "upside down". It's quite a problem with some mac users

Texture Section is there, in case you missed it.

Just delete the .technic folder. Once you start the launcher it will detect you are missing that folder and redownload it. As for backups, whichever modpack you have played, go to that modpack's folder and find a folder called "saves". You should find a savefile there that you have named for your special world. Copy + paste somewhere safe!

That looks interesting Have you tried placing blocks on it? You said it spawns when you place a door, on the same spot or anywhere you place a door? Also, please read the Forums rules, posting your name is frowned upon by moderators.

Linky linky, if you want to try yourself (it's recommended that you at least try) If you believe that a good fairy will swoop down and grant you a modpack then you might want to Edit your post by adding links to each and every mod that you wish your modpack to have. Nobody has the time to google all those you posted. At that point, you can check each and every mod and see for yourself which are updated and which arent. Just a little tip.

Do you have a premium account, as in: did you buy the game Minecraft from Mojang? If so, try Migrating your Minecraft account to your Mojang account and use your email on the username bar when you launch Tekkit Launcher. Linky linky!

What bit is your OS running, 32 or 64? And what bit is your Java running, 32 or 64? It has to match. If you have a windows 8 that runs 64 bit and a java with 32 bit, uninstall the java and get a new one that is 64.

More information. Saying stuff doesn't work without giving us details is next to useless and nobody can help you. My guess is that you have a antivirus that blocks your download, but that is only a guess, since you didn't offer any details of what equipment you have: Operating System? Antivirus? Java? Launcher build? Furthermore, this sounds like a Technic launcher bug, so please submit a proper bug report in the correct section.

What? What does this have to do with OP's question about reporting custom modpacks on platform? And Hexxit doesn't have Mo'Creatures.

This section is meant for modpack-related bugs. Like if the moon itself came down and killed all your chickens and made all cows pregnant. If you have server questions, this section might help. I would advice you to find out what your Operating system is first. "Probably Linux" is not very helpful

It would only become a legal problem if Technic sold the tshirts. So far they have given this to all staff and the mods, and now 20 or so for free to the public. We can only wait and see, nothing in Kaker's post indicates that he will sell Technic™ t-shirts. Technic has been against donations and any monetary attempts from fans to keep this joyride going. Only donations toward modders is what Technic endorses

I disagree. If they should depict anything else besides the Technic logo, then a flying/floating creeper with a spacehelm would be preferred.

Why are you asking this in platform section? This is the section where people can ask how to maintain their custom modpacks. Personally, I think that mod looks godawful! Minecraft is pixelated enough. Putting a lego-like bricks in there makes it look silly. I dunno about Technic staff, but you can certainly add that mod in your modpack (Tekkit or your own custom modpack) if you so desire. As long as you fix any block and item ID's there should probably not be any crashes or errors.
