Server off while thunderstorm is thunderstorming.

I tried launching it but received a warning that your Forge was too old. I updated it to 1614 and it launched, and I can create worlds.

Please provide a link to your dropbox and modpack api.

2-3GB is usually sufficient.

Maybe a kitchen sink pack, like The 1.7.10 Pack, it's still maintained.

This password reset token is invalid. Is what I get when trying to change it. I did the "forgot password" button, got the email, clicked the link, and put my email and typed my new password in the two boxes. Some attempts I get "cannot find user with that email address" ***Fixed... The period at the end of the reset link was at fault, I removed it and I was able to do it.

Trying to retrogen some missing things back in for Bluepower and others, server will be up and down today. ** keeps trying to regen villages, trying to fix. ** Fixed, I had turned on Electricraft Retrogen and forgot about it. Apparently it makes villages regen.

Error accessing URL [http://api.madsquid.net/api/modpack/] Looks like you are using Solder, which I know little about. The launcher is having trouble finding something, check your solder settings and perhaps someone who knows Solder can step in.

pastebin one of the logs. You should check and make sure Minecraft is using the Nvidia card as well.

Install this pack: http://www.technicpack.net/modpack/barebonespack.271497 It's a modpack with no mods. Run it once, it will create the file structure you need to build and test. If you are on Windows, go to c:\users\*yourusername*\appdata\Roaming\.technic\modpacks\barebonespack Put a few of your mods into the mods folder. Run it again, it if works, add more. Rinse and repeat until you are done, or you get an error. If you get an error, research it and report back if you are stuck. Once it is all done, runs fine, you have your configs tweaks just how you like them, do this: 1) go into Bin delete everything except modpack.jar 2) grab the Bin, Config, and Mods (and Flans, if you installed it) folder and zip them up, name it Modpack.zip. This is the thing you upload to Dropbox. Instructions on how to format your dropbox link correctly can be found at circlecraft.info/hosts (thank Plowman). Punch in the required info into your Technic modpack account. If you plan on running a server, there some additional steps.

It depends. If you are running a Forge server, Forge Essentials adds permissions. http://minecraft.curseforge.com/projects/forge-essentials-74735 I haven't dived to deeply into its permissions, can't say if has TP controls. If it's Bukkit, Thermos, or something else, you'll need to read up on how they do it.

try Java 8u25 x 64 instead.

Backup your world and try this: Go to forge.cfg in your Config folder and change this: B:removeErroringEntities=false to True and B:removeErroringTileEntities=false to True and relaunch. If it works, it will remove whatever entities are corrupt. Afterwards, set these values back to false.

Its fixed. The mincraft libraries were missing. Forge want launch without them. You really do need a start.bat, I added one, set to use 5GB. Adjust as needed. Do not put your server IP in the server properties file. If you want clients to see your server address pre-filled in, you need to launch it on your client, save it there, close it, and find the servers.dat file it created.
