Think how I feel - I have no idea how I got this many... Probably from all those replies to people asking about Tekkit Classic 3.1.3, where I ended up copying and pasting the same message every time linking people to the same fix .-.

I think that's configurable in options. "Show inline pop-up when I have new personal messages (latest will be shown)" might work There's still no option for only getting an alert once per post, though. Is this a possibility? I came on with 46 notifications from a grand total of 3 threads today...

Do you get notifications every time somebody replies to a post, even when you already have one from that post? I can't figure out how to turn it off...

It all depends on how it turns out. Luke's found a good use of the Signature, but I dread to think what could happen. Half of each thread could turn out to be massive OTT signatures... No fingers pointed. Honest. As for the "Advanced Member" tag, looks like it's changeable. I doubt that tag will see the light of day for much longer - everyone will probably change theirs at the first opportunity.

I love Starbound, although it's a little lacking in long term objectives at the moment. After all, it is[/] still in alpha. Once more content gets added, and you can't conquer the entire ore progression in a couple of hours, Starbound will be a pretty impressive game.

Tekkit Classic is based off Minecraft 1.2.5 (hence "Classic"), since it includes mods which were never updated past that version of Minecraft. There's no way around this, but very little problem with it if you really just want to play it for the mods - their content is generally far superior to Vanilla Minecraft updates, so you're not missing out on much.

Half Life three might come out within the next century. Maybe I went a little far with this one...

I think Portal has its own (updated) version of the Source engine, which is probably why games with their own .exes start there.

Looks like the ComputerCraft turtle having a block ID with itself, to be exact. Just above that, though, the logs mentioned something about CC failing to load properly. A reinstall should fix it, bit I've forgotten how to do that. Somebody else can give him the walkthrough

You sure that's the source remake he was thinking of? I assumed it was Half Life:Source. But yeah, if you enjoyed Half Life, Black Mesa is incredible. Frankly, it's pretty incredible anyway - it's just a shame that they haven't finished Xen yet.

He just gave you instructions on how to tell us exactly what went wrong with your game. They're pretty simple, but there's nothing anyone can do unless you post the log of what happened (the file he told you how to get to) EDIT: sorry, you posted that while I was writing that. Try uploading it to pastebin.com, and giving us a link to that - we need the whole log, really

Yeah, I'm pretty sure L4D is a Half Life 2 mod. It's probably because half of Valve's games are sequels to mods that they bought from the original creators - I think that's how Team Fortress started (although I could be wrong). Dota is another example.

All of Valve's games are mods of half life - even TF2 is run from HL2.exe. When they released Half Life 2, they started modding that instead.

That sounds like a Tekkit Classic server, not a Hexxit server. Apparently the Minecraft version number only appeared in 1.3, so that's as far back as it goes, despite the server actually running 1.2.5. Make sure you're running the right pack for the server you want to connect to - they have to match, otherwise it won't work.

Half life was an awesome game. Shame it made me feel ill just by playing it. It made me a little depressed that the third expansion (decay) was a PlayStation exclusive, but then again it was co-op and not particularly well known. I just wanted to play every Half Life game ever :(

I tried Planetside. Minimum settings killed my computer. That said, they did apparently optimize the game not long ago - perhaps I could run it now.

Perhaps "download" should be replaced with "Buy cheap ugg boots", to get more Technic friendly adverts popping up. We can see Cheap Shot's merchandise everywhere!
