I've already mentioned the causes and fixes - the checking is done by the Minecraft servers. If it works with the Minecraft launcher, use the same details. You don't need any sort of Technic account to use the Launcher, it doesn't run off them.

You need to log in with your Minecraft account details. If you have a Mojang account, use your email instead of your username. You need to have bought Minecraft to use the Technic Launcher.

I wish that a meteorite exactly 5cm cubed landed in the middle of the deepest crater on the moon.

It's a hidden recipe. I think there are currently 3 in TConstruct, but I can't remember their names.

I (and Fluffy) just decided not to release it, and that maybe someone else could (please?) make it (again) and release it for me (and Fluffy). But you have to give me (and Fluffy) credit, because Fluffy say so, therefore it is a law that I (and Fluffy) am(/are) the original creator(s).

A lot of mods already use the modders name in stuff to prevent conflicts, so I guess for the most part it'll be stuff like "tile.Theprolo_Copper", which should be pretty foolproof (in the sense that people using it won't have their stuff broken by other mods, not that fools won't be able to use it, although I guess that's possible)

You have to find whatever the tracking block's called, and set the ID to 0. It's ID probably isn't 0 already if you haven't changed it.

Does Railcraft still have that weird tracking block thing which breaks everything? If so, you might want to look up how to remove it (I think you change "tracking block" or whatever it's called's ID to 0), because that could break the tree generation. If you want to test, plant a tree somewhere you've never been, break it, then step on the place where it was before and try again in exactly the same spot. If it doesn't grow the second time, it may be Railcraft.

Pretty sure you need to run it off the .bat, assuming it's the same as Tekkit servers. That'll run the server itself - you don't just run it first, you only run ut.

"In Razer Game Booster: (Diagnostics function)" Might be worth looking at this, not Minecraft. AFAIK that's a program which closes background tasks to free up space, so I'm assuming it's removing something it's not meant to.

It's not a case of them not wanting the launcher to be 1.6.2, and people commenting that they want it to stay at 1.5.2 likely won't make any difference. There's a lot of work going in to improve the launcher as well as make it compatible with the new Minecraft launcher. You might also want to check out the forum rules, by the way

Fair enough. It's certainly not worth that amount of effort for one far from necessary feature For the second one, I think I might either have been using outdated information or I'm just being stupid. Don't worry about it.
