Two places you should look: Small Scale Recruitment Thread (for small, non public servers) Tekkit Classic Server List (plenty of whitelisted and open servers for Tekkit Classic) These two options are far more likely to give you a server to play on than asking random people.

Make your own bug report, rather than hijacking someone else's thread for a different problem (I've provided a link to the bug report form in case you missed that, just click the first part of my post). Also, it's always worth reading the error just in case it says something really obvious and important. You know, something like "A full error report has been saved to C:\Users\JanM3\AppData\Roaming\.techniclauncher\tekkitlite\crash-reports\crash-2013-08-11_17.16.41-server.txt - Please include a copy of that file (Not this screen!) if you report this crash to anyone; without it, they will not be able to help fix the crash ". *Hint hint*

I've never liked piracy, I'm just not usually the one who gets there first. My response to piracy is always fairly similar to that, especially when they've ignored me before. And anyway, any excuse to get the good old emote out is a good excuse

Yep, that's how it works. It shouldn't need internet connection once you've downloaded that pack.

As long as it's for the correct version of Minecraft, of course. It won't work if you try updating Forge to, for example, a version for Minecraft 1.6.2.

I think Antimatter bombs, missiles and bullets can deactivate a Red Matter explosion. It might not be every time though - if it doesn't work (or makes it worse), try again. Once it's gone, just let off a couple of rejuvenation explosives (I think that's the name) to reset the chunks it's damaged.

You can't. The mods that hexxit uses haven't been updated for Minecraft 1.6 yet. You don't need 1.6 much anyway - the mods work fine and you miss out on very little by just waiting until the modders have done their stuff and brought everything to the latest version of Minecraft.

You could try Single Player Commands - I think that's got a /home command in it. It's weird to install, so make sure you read the instructions carefully.

Make a massive, intricate train network to transport Nether Stars through a series of airlocks including extending underwater tunnels, inter-dimensional links and a crane arm to remove the container full of your precious nether stars into a secure facility straight out of the train. The Item Subsets menu at the top of your inventory will allow you to choose which items display in NEI. If you right click on Immibis' Microblocks (in the Mods tab), it'll hide all blocks and items from it in NEI.

It's config files for a mod though. Nothing would happen without the mod. The diamond part is correct, however.

Where has Tekkit been "failing" on updates? Any mods which are missing are either because the mods themselves haven't updated (and in some cases never will), the mod author didn't want their mod to be in the packs, or the mod just got replaced. If you're so worried about losing your city, then just stay with Tekkit Classic. Short of updating the mods yourself and putting the pack together, there's very little anyone can do to fix this. The Technic team are no exception.

AFAIK they drop on the floor. If the person could be bothered to search for them he should have been able to pick them up.

Depends how you go about it. If you try to start an argument/fight between the two packs they may ban you for that, even if this is only perceived.
