The Config folder. It should generate in the folder your server is in.

I think that's CofH Core, although I could be wrong. CofH Core can definitely do that, but so can other mods. If you want mass ore gen in your own server, then it's as good a choice as any.

I didn't forget the IP, that comes under the making a new account part. It didn't need mentioning, so I didn't mention it. The way you made the account to "troll" with doesn't affect the quality in any way, especially not in this case. If you had made an account with the same IP and weren't IP banned, the result would be the same. EDIT: At a guess, because they still think that there's life in IC2 yet and, more importantly, they want GregTech, which is one of the more important mods in FtB. If they want instability and a mod which probably won't last much longer, and may end up pulled from the pack at a very problematic time for them due to updates, then that's their choice. IMO, the Technic team saved us all a lot of hassle by dropping it before the corpse starts to rot.

It being your first time doesn't make it any better - your "not bad" label suggests that it won't improve no matter how many times you do it. You also seem unable to understand what ban evasion actually is, which doesn't make it seem like you're going to be much good at it if you don't even understand what you're doing. Ban Evasion is where you evade a ban. You cannot, and have not, unbanned yourself, you merely evaded the ban by making a new account. That is ban evasion, not unbanning.

I... Wouldn't call that "not bad". Your concept of trolling is "act like an idiot then try to ban evade when it gets me banned". Pretty crappy trolling, especially for these forums - home to masters such as Cheapshot. If this is your idea of trolling, then I fear for the good name of trolls.

Captain Scar should be banned for having an eyepatch. Those went out of fashion years ago, so he obviously can't keep up with the times and therefore can't keep up with the rules - he should be removed for his own safety. His last post was also hypocritical :P

Tekkit Classic has the Energy Condenser. I don't think that was around back in Beta 1.7.3 though - that would be EE1 if anything AFAIK.

Depends on what they're used for, really. I doubt a mech suit would be particularly useful in combat if it had legs, because chances are it would be easily knocked over. even if it could get back up, it could cause major problems and make them a sitting target for however long it takes to get back on its feet.

Is the FTB custom pack thing even working yet? I don't really follow FTB stuff, so last I heard of it it'd been suspended. Ages ago. Yeah, this one is pretty biased - you're assuming that every single modpack on there has no permissions and is poorly edited, which certainly isn't true.

So basically, post here in the proper place which will give you the bug report format.

I think for the most part the idea is "Kill stuff, loot stuff, get better stuff, repeat". The only real thing which is important is knowing the equipment and recipes, which is where NEI comes in ;)

I don't think there is actually a platinum ore in Tekkit. Pulverizing ferrous, however, is not a huge waste - it's a huge bonus. You get 2 ferrous dust, and the shiny metal dust is free extra. What's wasteful about getting extra stuff?

Kill it with fire! No, seriously. That guy has LifeSteal - any damage you do to him will most likely be done to you instead. An environmental damage might just do the trick though. I recommend using lava, and keeping your distance.

Does Yogcraft even have Nether Ores? I've never tried it. If you're hosting a server with it, then it will be in the config.

Why would you use lava in a combustion engine? Magmatics produce 4 times the power. I'm also confused as to why it takes less engines producing less power than a magmatic for the same result according to you. You sure you got that one right? Magmatics produce 4MJ/t once they're warmed up, more than that 3. As for cooling, try an Aqueous Accumulator - it's like a pump except it needs no power, never uses up water sources (no chance of it running out), and run pretty quickly once you've got at least 3+ source blocks next to it. I find they're a much better option for keeping engines cool than any number of pumps.

Acting the same as a guy who got banned, however, is something I hope you do understand. He's trying to help you here by warning you of what happened last time someone tried this. Different thread/different OP/same attitude/same result.

Try disabling your antivirus while downloading, sometimes they can block the download.

Give some examples here - it's hard to be specific without you being specific. Personally, I try to be more helpful than rude/annoying. I know that's not the case for everyone though.
