  1. Quite honestly, the Technic Platform probably wipes the vast majority of bonuses of FtB out completely, since they're mostly mods. As it is, there's not much you'll get from FtB which you can't get just as easily, if not more easily, by just looking through some of the Platform packs and picking one you like.
  2. It's a Dev build and, judging by the errors, not completely stable. I'm assuming he means this new version, by the way :P
  3. There's always a log. Get the forgemodloader log - CanVox already detailed how to find that.
  4. You could try using the latest Dev build. I won't lie, there may be bugs and instability. However, it's been a couple of versions since the first 1.5.2 Dev build, so it should be approaching a decent amount of stability now. Just keep in mind that you're using a development build, not a recommended build.
  5. Looks rather like an adventure-based pack which is more about dungeoneering and boss fights than mining. I'm guessing it's loaded with loot and world-gen dungeons. Perhaps Better Dungeons has been optimised enough to make it into the mix... I seriously hope so, because I love that mod. Either way, it sounds like a pretty interesting pack.
  6. It would help if you could post those error logs - both the first and third. Without that, you can't expect it to be fixed.
  7. Terrified to read that now... I always knew those goody-two-shoes perma-smiling villagers were up to something. I always thought they were just high though, because of the eye size...
  8. I think it's COFH Core, in the config.
  9. Use an Energetic Infuser.
  10. That makes horror movies look friendly...
  11. Zap Bash Fine? It sounds like a guy who can't drive his spaceship.
  12. Chances are that it did have the correct version of minecraft, but you messed up when updating the server. People would notice if a problem as obvious as that was there.
  13. I'm somehow doubting it's DivineRPG, but I could be wrong. It just seems too cheap for the Technic team to make an exact clone of a pack in FtB and release it as their own, unless the mod maker's involved.
  14. Rogue. Cloak and Dagger shtuff.
  15. The randomness, chance and stuff.I also just generally enjoy seeing what comes out, and how I can improve it. Just because you don't like something doesn't mean nobody else does.
  16. Looks like memory issues. Try checking the PermGen option in the launcher options and see if that makes any difference.
  17. Looks like he's holding a knife... I would suggest H/M, but I still think the new pack's more likely. If it is H/M, I still get credit though ;)
  18. It's the same concept as Forestry bees really. Minigames like that are quite fun, especially when it gives you something specific to do with a huge number of possibilities.
  19. Again, we need logs. It's hard to fix problems when you don't know what they are or what causes them.
  20. I know, but being literal was more fun. You get it, but discover too late that it was actually a nefarious plot by the Technic devs to mind-control the world and turn people into zombies. You are the first victim. I wish "Catfrey" was a real word. EDIT: Ninja doesn't count because you didn't make a wish :3
  21. You need to use an MOTD plugin or mod. Check out the mod's MCForums thread for details.
  22. You get 9 new seasons in the year full of supernatural stuff. Witches, ghosts, zombies and other horrors prevent you for sleeping during 8 of the 13 seasons a year (you're in nightmare land for the 9th). I wish for a sharp pointy fish.
  23. Saying that is kinda pointless unless you give crash logs. How do you expect them to get it fixed without telling them what's wrong?
  24. You drop the sharp pointy stick without realising it and walk away. It lands point-up and jams hard into the ground. Not long afterwards, aliens land on Earth for the first time (well, for these aliens anyway). Their leader is the first to leave the spacecraft, but unfortunately he trips over and lands middle-left head first onto your pointy stick. This partially kills him, and his remaining brains become enraged at Earth for attacking them the moment they land peacefully. They launch huge thermonuclear TV remotes at Earth and completely destroy it. I wish for a nuclear powered supercomputer.
