I agree with that, but unfortunately it's not just the people telling others about replacement mods and how to do stuff etc. (or not, as the case may be). I remember one guy who made a thread asking how to replace his sorting system. He got plenty of good, informative and helpful replies but basically complained about the solutions for the sole reason that they weren't carbon copies of Redpower. He probably made the thread just to complain about the removal of RP2 in the most idiotic method he could possibly think of, then got angry when he got a real answer. I remember him doing a similar thing for IC2. What my point, really, is that while people started out nice about it, the repetitive threads and complaints despite clear and useful explanations turned it negative.

It's not removed just because the devs decided to pull it randomly. RP2 isn't updated and is looking rather unlikely to be updating for quite some time (unless that's changed since I last looked, in which case feel free to put it back in). The long update times held the pack back, sometimes for several months on it's own. It was removed because of the long update times, and since Tekkit Main will be their last chance for a long time to remove a mod as large as RP2 without screwing up everyone's worlds they took the opportunity. As for MAtmos, I liked some of it - but the wind was really annoying...

You might want to add a blacklist to that. It shouldn't cause any particularly damaging problems in anything to my knowledge, but it would be a bit weird if used in conjunction with Twilight Forest mobs which drop trophies, for example.

Make sure the transformers are set up in the right direction. The 3-circle side is the input in a transformer.

EE3 "sucks" because It's in development. Did you think the Minium stone was all that was being added? The new features will (probably) eventually be added and it'll be more expansive.

It was removed because it's not updated. The last stable release was more than half a year ago, so they switched it out for mods which actually progress and update. There are ported versions, but they're buggy and not worth putting in a modpack.

Not all modded mobs have unique drops. Take Mo' creatures for example - how many of those mobs drop fur? How many of those mobs actually drop anything at all?

Crafting with mob drops? Sounds like it wouldn't be particularly mod-compatible, which was one of the useful things about the original Soul Shards.

Probably the same as Thaumcraft - it's easy if someone wants to try adding it themselves.

I think you're the one exaggerating the importance of your own opinion, even if it is backed up by others. Just because a certain server dislikes a certain mod doesn't mean everybody dislikes that mod. It was never a bad mod, but if it can't keep up then it should be left to die rather than dragging people down with it. In its life, it was a fun and interesting mod to play.

Depends how then. If you want it installed on steam, looks like you'll have to get it off steam. Alternatively, you could just put a link to it using the same Add A Game thingy.
